I may take a lot of heat for saying Hunter X Hunter is worlds better than Fairy Tail but I have to say it. Skip Beat!! is also fantastic and I highly recommend both of those reads and especially recommend putting off Fairy Tail for Hunter X Hunter.

Out of curiosity do you happen to know if the manga for HxH is still being produced? I recently started getting into reading and collecting manga myself and I'd love have HxH. Though the comic book store I use to purchase my manga from in tiny denmark told me that they're unlikely to order it home as some of the volumes have gone out of production?

In any case do you know any good manga sites to order from online that might still have them in stock?

Thank you in advance.

I sadly can't answer your question. Sorry mate; I'd recommend ordering it and/or reading it online.

Dead Man Wonderland

I really don't get why people like this one. I watched the anime because people go nuts over it but the MC was so obscenely obnoxious and wimpy I just couldn't even stomach it. The plot seemed interesting but my interest in it was completely overshadowed by my complete disgust with the MC.

@OP: I would try out the manga for the more well known anime like Naruto and Bleach. The story is a lot more interesting when you don't have to deal with years worth of filler. I would also second Tower of God and other web novels since they're usually relatively interesting and have the added benefit of quicker release dates, albeit with shorter chapters as well. Noblesse is another one in that vein.

If you want to read stuff on Crunchyroll then I would recommend the following:

The Seven Deadly Sins -> Lots of fighting and fantasy elements.
Ajin -> Modern day horror/mystery theme with a MC that departs from the usual nice guy MC's.
UQ Holder -> This one is sort of the afterstory for Negima so if you've read that you'll probably like this. Magic and fighting in a technologically advanced society.
Bokura Wa Minna Kawaisou -> This one is just a normal slice of life one with some good comedy and lighthearted romance.
Maga-Tsuki -> Harem manga. If you don't like harem stuff then you probably won't like it but if you do like harem stuff then I would say it's the best I've read.
Arpeggio of Blue Steel -> The worlds oceans have been taken over by an evil fleet that's technologically superior to humanity. MC and his crew are on one of these super advanced ships (which has a mind of its own and is represented physically by a small girl) and is fighting back. Mostly naval combat here.
Great Teacher Onizuka -> It's GTO. Nuff said.
The Morose Mononokean -> Highschool kid sees demons, joins with exorcist guy, and goes about "exorcising" demons. Full disclosure this is less like a fighting manga and more like a slice of life. Expect jokes and banter over scary demon fights.

Based on the OP it seems like you like manga with action in it so I tried to point out those ones. I had to include a few of the other ones though because they're pretty good in their own right.

FMA (finished) even if you have seen the anime i'd still suggest reading the manga.

D Gray Man

Magi

Blue Exorcist

Beelzebub (finished)

if you're up for some Korean webtoons (available for free in English), I suggest Noblesse (which just released an OVA) and Tower of God

Gintama but until the past 2 years it's pretty much a gag manga with some serious arcs thrown in so idk if it'd be your kind of thing. but i have to suggest it anyway lol

Psyren [very addictive read]

MPD Psycho

Berserk
[Only if your heart can take it. Even if the movies & anime had been made to try to be as faithful to the source, the manga is darker and much more disturbing.]
