Exactly what it says in the title; Santa-san is the history of how we plebians have come to own gifts based on our own behaviors throughout the year. It says so in old coke ads, so it's got to be true. However, given the nature of GD, I'll go ahead and argue this question, as most people find themselves questioning the existence of such a jolly character.

What if.. Santa does not, in fact, exist? What if those who say that Santa isn't real were right all along? What if Santa is just a fabricated money grab by big corporate businesses? How would it affect humanity?

Maybe the Santa that exists isn't the same as cartoons, movies and children's novels wanted us to believe. There must be more to this guy than magically entering people's homes, being the boss or employer of a thousand elves and riding with reindeer.

If you are talking about Coka Cola santa, I'm fine. Now you got me wondering if Santa Claus's European forefathers are just as commercialized today as he is.

You know, I think you have a point. I personally think that there is a huge conspiracy going on with the general populace. I also think that there is more to this Santa individual than meets the eye, but all these nonbelievers think that I'm loony for just believing in the guy.

For example, how can you explain all the tasty coal that I get every year during Christmastime? How do you explain the merry attitude of every one during the tide of Yule? Once, I stayed up allll night except maybe for an hour and still awoke to find my stockings stuffed with chocolate ̶ ̶g̶o̶o̶d̶i̶e̶s̶ coal. How do you explain that? Obviously, Santa doesn't just visit homes during the night of Christmas, that would clearly be impossible. I think he is omnipresent; how else would he know when you've been naughty or nice and when you're asleep so that he can gift you?

I also think that he has the power to brainwash the masses. It is clear that people are not themselves in the latter parts of December. But what do I know?

Then who comes down my chimney every Christmas smelling of stale milk, cookies, and cheap whiskey in a stained red suit?
