So heres the deal, I'm also trying to make a Let's play and trying to produce lossless 60FPS recording on my computer however its a bit of strain to be using alot of programs at once, so I wanted to know if theres some separate device that I can use so that when recording, its not trying to do Microphone as well.

Preamp bro. An Avid Mbox HD would likely do it. An Mbox has built in ASIO. They can handle up to 96KHz in standard form. 192KHz in HD. It would do the trick well, I think.

I dabble with music and such. I have licenses to several DAW's and my own external hardware. I have two mic's: an AKG D5 and a Shure Microflex. Yamaha HS8's for near fields. A pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro's and pair of Sony MDR-7506's for headphones.

It's all fun and games until you make an electronic track so crappy that even a deaf man wouldn't chose it for his first listen after surgery.
