Hi,

Dunno if anyone else has / had this problem too but when you read so fast that you are almost disgusted of purchasing books, i mean even though i "re-read" those quite often it still seems like it's wasting money when you've already finished the book just a few hours after you bought it.

As for answering the question, if manga / LN count then i've read one this week. Even more if you count scans.

Yes, I feel that way quite often even when I do reread books. That is why my local library is a good friend.

It has been a while since I read actually books. I used to read about an hour before I go to bed. I need to be getting back into it again.

I must say that it has been a while since i checked out my local library since the last time i went they didn't have the stuff i was looking for, and i tend to read at home cause it's more comfy. But might as well try it it could be a new experience and a place i could meet interesting people. Thank for the advice.

I read books every waking moment of my life. Okay maybe not every moment but I wish I could. Reading is one of my biggest escapes and keeps me sane.

Bonus Question:
1. I write all the time, nearly every day. I still suck at it but I enjoy writing. I have too many characters screaming at me to tell their stories not to write.
2. It doesn't matter if others love to read or not. I'm sure they have other things they enjoy just as much as I love reading and people don't have to necessarily enjoy the things I do. Life is too short to spend doing things you don't enjoy doing. If you love to read then awesome. If not then awesome too.

I used to read pretty often, but now I'm out of reading material and can't find anything good to read.

Bonus ?'s
1. I don't normally write stories, though I've tried so hard to before. It always makes me frustrated that I'm constantly getting writers block, so I just give up.

2. If you don't like reading books that's fine, just don't put the people who do through hell for it.

*avid reader*
*collects books*

I have books sitting on top of books and everywhere else. Yet I still buy more.
Whoops.

Though.. as for 2016, I haven't finished one yet, too busy. (^ ^;)

Thanks a bunches.

My Turn:

I don't read books all the time because I can't visualize when I read why I prefer to write rather than read. My condition sucks but enough about me tell me about yourself.

Bonus Questions:

1) How often do you write stories?

2) What are your opinions on people who do not like to read books?

I used to read 20-30 every week or every other week. Granted, this was back when I had tons of spare time, but I kept it up for around 6 years before I started getting busier in high school and junior high. Then, I'd only read books that caught my attention or that I felt like re-reading from my shelf. I'd grab new books from yard and library sales. Reading a lot was helpful. English wasn't my primary language and all this reading let me learn a lot. By the time I was in 6th grade, I could speed read at 1800 WPM and my reading level was that of an 11th grader, according to the school tests. I got nominated for GATE but sadly didn't get in. The cutoff was 130 and I scored 129 on the IQ test.

Now, I try to finish at least 2 books per week. I usually manage 3, but 2 is a good goal, even if I'm merely reading something I already read. Feels weird if I don't read. I'll buy books from library sales or Amazon sometimes. If you set up a camera in my room, you'll see that I usually fall asleep reading and get scolded a lot for keeping my light on.

1. Rarely. I'm a poem guy. But I haven't written anything creative for probably a year or two now. I need to get on that again.

2. Damn plebs. But I can't really blame them. They were probably introduced to reading through the wrong methods. Forcing people to read musty, old, boring books and write reports won't get them to like reading.
