A sweet strawberry herbal tea that tastes vaguely like strawberries and cream, steeped for nearly five minutes, 3/4 boiling water, 1/4 cool water from the tap to make it drinkable right away, and with a cheese scone and a good friend to talk with over the kitchen table, and no plans for afterwards.

I usually have nothing in my tea, but if the flavour requires a bit of sugar I usually have one teaspoon

depends on the tea really, my current favourite is a cherry blossom white tea from Davids Tea [just as is] and right now i'm enjoying an orange pekoe with a splash of milk [milk before the tea]

regarding coffee... well i've worked as a barista for 5 years in various cafes, so theres a ton of answers to the coffee question. if it's brewed coffee, it's black with a food pairing to accent the specific flavour notes in the coffee. if i'm ordering a drink, i typically like caramel mochas.

Coffee with three sweeteners. Found out how good it is when the call center ran out of creamer. Although I love tea and coffee with flavored creamers.

A teaspoon of instant coffee in hot water. That's it. But the instant coffee has to be the freeze dried kind, not the spray dried kind.

A good Taiwanese oolong (Alishan mountain oolong is usually good) without milk or sweeteners. There's nothing like it, even other oolongs are nothing like it.
