Sushi. Some people can't stand the idea of eating something raw. I just say what I always say:

- Raw oysters on the half shell
- Brusselsprouts
- Dried Kelp & Nori Sheets (a lot of people hate on me for that haha)
- Sushi
- Hot Dogs/Bratwursts (although for most its a love or hate relationship)
- Ramen on the rocks (aka uncooked brick of Maruchan Ramen)

mmmmmmmm

Brats are great. They're 10000x better than hot dogs. Especially if you cook them in a mixture of beer and spices, then finish them on a grill. I like mine with either diced raw red/white onions or beer-boiled onions, with stone ground spicy mustard on a dark bread. Oooh, and with some sauerkraut. Last time I made beer brats, I ate four of them. Each with all the toppings and condiments. I was so full I didn't eat anything the next day.

Hot dogs are okay sometimes, but I wouldn't want to eat them every week. Relish and ketchup on hot dogs is a flavor not easily replaced. The hot dog is more of an impulse craving food to me. Or an addition to fried rice.

Salt and vinegar chips are bomb.

Uncooked instant noodles can be good. They make specific kinds in Taiwan and Korea that can be eaten out of the bag or cooked, however you like it. Just crush, open the bag and sprinkle the seasoning, then shake. There are also kinds that have seasonings already mixed so you can eat as is.

Broccoli, yes. I also like to make cheesy broccoli rice. I cook the rice with Newcastle, then add broccoli florets and fried sausage pieces to make fried rice. Mix in some cheese sauce or grated cheese when almost ready and mix it all well. Don't even need to add seasoning since the oil used to fry the sausages, as well as the sausages themselves, are incorporated in the dish. Spam works, too.

More like "MORE FOR ME!" People are too squeamish. It bothers me when they say they love Japanese food but don't eat fermented or raw food. What are you eating? Teriyaki chicken or California rolls or something?

-seafood
-tomatoes (though I think people just dislike the texture - I'll admit I don't like tofu primarily because of the texture)

And I've met one or two people thought cilantro was awful. I tried to comprehend, but my brain returned 0 search results for "cilantro" and "awful" (with no suggestions).

-almost forgot spicy foods; disagreement here might be a deal-breaker. If the doc says I have to choose between spicy foods and an artificial heart, I'd say "when can we do the surgery?" Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit.
