Blah I have always had a fast metabolism so very rarely I will gain weight. I was close to being annorexic so well had to gain weight lol. Im 30 pounds over weight but do to my metabolism Im not gaining anymore or loseing any for that matter so guessing it stabalized or its just fast enough to where I dont gain any weight but slow enough im not loseing any.

I also go walking around the neighborhood everyday. So despite being 30 pounds over im pretty healthy in my opinion do to my metabolism and daily walking and the fact im not gaing or loseing weight despite everything.

Edit: also dont mind being 30 pounds over as long as im not annorexic like I was 2-3 years ago or gain anymore im actually fine with being a bit chubby but anymore weight then ill freak out.

I've been gaining weight for some unknown reason. I am 148 now. Trying to get back down to 140-142.

I do at least 200 push ups a day and try not to do sets of fewer than 40. I also do pullups and go on a 30-40 minute brisk walk almost every day. I guess I'm fit but not athletic.

I have an eating disorder, so no, probably not. I don't think I'm unhealthy, though (at least not like I used to be when I was 84 pounds--down from my original weight of 120--I'm 5'1 and petite but muscular and I've never been actually fat or even overweight). But that could be the anorexia talking lol I'm not quite emaciated or anything I don't think. I don't weigh myself because I get obsessed, otherwise. But I really do need to start eating, otherwise I could probably die. Luckily, I'm getting help so that it won't come to that. But yeah. Eating disorders suck. I used to work out every day--I ran. But then I tore my anterior-talofibular ligament in my right ankle. Just got it fixed with this cool new fiber thing that the medical industry just came out with. Had the procedure 4 months ago, was non-weight bearing for 2 months, and I'm up and walking and I feel good as new (and better than I've felt in 7 years since I got the injury). I'm bionic now, so that's pretty neat haha

Lesson here: stretch before exercising. And if you have flat feet like me, don't run several miles a day through pain and all weather. Because tearing ligaments hurts like hell.

I go on walks now. With friends. I like adventuring in the forest and such. Even though I despise bugs lol

Just avoid alcohol and the sun--they will age and kill you. Being pale is a good thing. Even if it makes me look like a vampire xD

It's muscle weight. You almost sound like you're kinda weird about your weight, too. Be careful. Eating disorders aren't just girl things. Make sure you're eating. 148 is very thin for a guy. How tall are you?

Don't worry. A weight isn't anorexic if you don't have the eating disorder--it's just called underweight. Anorexia nervosa isn't really about how much you weigh. Based on your comment about not caring about weighing 30 pounds more, you seem to have a healthy outlook on your weight. It's cool you have a fast metabolism.

Were you diagnosed or something? If so, good job on recovery.

Not very. I mean I exercise and eat healthy and everything, but apparently I'm "too skinny"(gotta blame my metabolism which can be all over the place but mostly fast) and my immune system is trash.

5 sets of 40? Divided into 2 sessions it's really not that much is it? It's significant but doable. In fact that may be why he is gaining weight.

Maybe my view is just skewed because I used to do the 225lb bench press set as a lightweight alternative for the bench press to do while circuit training?

I could be in better shape, a little flab at places where I'd prefer muscle. My cholesterol is just slightly above normal so I am trying to eat a bit better as well.

My BMI is good at a 23 so I have no real weight issues. I have good blood pressure. Aside from my very minor cholesterol issue my blood work is good- no signs of any liver or kidney problems. I have no serious illnesses or STD's. I smoke hookah every once in a while which isn't great, but I am habitually a non smoker. And I only drink occassionally. Marijuana maybe a few times a year, and otherwise no drug use.

Always room for improvement, but pretty good health I think.

How's that unbelievable in any way? You have 24 HOURS to do 200 pushups. Unless you're very lazy, very weak, extremely overweight, or have no clue what it's like to exercise for real, it takes less than an hour to do 200 pushups. Less than 30 minutes if you don't rest long. If you can't even do 25 in a row, which was the minimum required per set back when I was training. I can sort of understand why it's unbelievable.

I do sets of 40 or 50, depending on how many I can do that sitting, basically doing as many as I can possibly do each set. Then, I wait a little while and do more sets until I fall under 20 a set because my arms can't keep up anymore. Usually, I take between 5-15 minutes of rest between each set. I used to be able to do 100 in a row back when I was 18, so this is actually bad compared to what I used to be able to do? I'm working my way back to 100 but 60 has been my best so far. I'm 20 pounds heavier than I was in high school.

It's also a good way to wake up in the morning. Do a set of 40 and the blood gets going a bit. And finish the rest at night.

My friends who actually go to the gym actually make fun of me for only walking and doing pushups and pullups. I hate going to the gym so I have no choice but to exercise at home with the easy stuff.
