To anyone reading this that is new to Dungeons and Dragons, it is a tabletop role-playing game in which a group of players take control of characters in a fantasy world and decide their actions in an open-ended story (for the most part). The players roll dice to determine whether or not their characters succeed at tasks that have a chance of failure, and play the roles of heroes as a specially designated participant called the Dungeon Master sets up obstacles and challenges for the heroes.

It's basically an improv acting/storytelling game with dice and paper.

Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) inspired many of the concepts of the Final Fantasy series, as well as the much beloved anime for Record of Lodoss War.

Has anyone here played in a DnD campaign or made anything DnD-related inspired by anime?

I'm personally making a character based on Kurohime, a magic gunslinger, and hope to play with it soon.

Yup plenty of times for me. my favorite one we've made is the space dandy dnd one. its the first campaign i finished it took over 6 months and ended up crossing with monster musume and many other animes it was awesome. i make the systems pretty accurate because i have a large knowledge of weaponry [im a veteran] were trying to get another game going but we are finding it hard to find players. we use an online dnd system. be glad to have you join if u'd like.

It wasn't D&D persay but in a Paladium system I ran a game inspired by Revolutionary Girl Utena. It was recieved with a mixed reaction, but I did have fun writing and GMing it

As an inspired yet uncreative DM, I steal plot points for all my campaigns. Hell, I made Otosaka Yu and used the evil scientist plot because I felt that the last episode of Charlotte cheated me out of an adventure.

And pretty much all my characters are based off of something because I have no real imagination.
