I don't have the review saved anywhere, it seems. I'll let it drop after this, but did the link of the cache at least alert to the moderators that the review was, in fact, removed quietly? It's the 2 star review at the bottom. And, again I ask, is there any way to recover it from the site? I did not make an MS word copy, like I usually do for reviews that are more than just a short comment on the series.

Moderators don't have any way to undelete a review, and I suspect customer support staff doesn't have any front end tools for doing so either. My guess it's similar to when you delete a file on your computer and empty the recycle bin. Technically it's still there somewhere but the pointers to it are gone, so it would take more than a trivial effort to restore it, so much so that it's essentially a case of it's gone, and no one's really able to retrieve it. If you want an official response from customer support staff regarding it, you can reach them via the /contact form.

Is this your review? Does contain code that doesn't appear to work on the forum but should be a copy and paste back into the review section etc. Provided it doesn't break the review guidelines.

Oh my god. Thank you so much! How did you find it? My girlfriend and I searched high and low on google, and we're both researchers by trade! All we found was the cache.

That is, in fact, the review. I copy and pasted it onto a Word document. I'll probably edit it some and then repost it later. I wasn't given notification, so I don't know what violated anything, if at all. If you read it, you can tell me, honestly.

And I believe these two users asked for it - here it is.

Thanks again for the help (to you and the staff who commented). I appreciate it.

And to those who wanted to see it, look at the post above! I've tagged a few of you in it.

If you get your review back I will like to read it. Thou not because I will like to read it before watching GATE. I am More than aware of GATE themes and messages. Since I already watch the first season. I just will like to see what you have to say about the series thou. Regardless of it being Negative or Positive. I still love the story and characters, even if I agree or disagree with it messages and themes. In a side note thou. How many stars did you give it?

I do hope you saved a draft of it somewhere, this post makes me interested in reading it...

For future reference, I hope you save a draft or have another kind of backup. Especially for Crunchy as this site's robots-txt makes digging for 'lost' material on various archives a bit hopeless...

This I'm directing toward other reviewers as well who's conclusions might come to be perceived as controversial. Of course it's up to CR what's on here or not. But it would level the playing field a bit should a decision seem arbitrary on behalf of them, giving users a chance to weigh in on the decision by having the material posted elsewhere after the fact.

It turns out that the full text is included in the cached page that you linked. They likely got it from that.

I got it off the google cache link you posted.

If you view the page's source it has what the page would look like with out all the fancy webpage scripts.
One of the scripts on the page hides the text after so many lines/words. So with it being disabled all you need to do is hit CTRL + F and then search for whatever text you are looking for. (I looked for your username and then matched the first words of the review)
Then copy whatever text you want to notepad or a forum post do a bit of a tidy for broken HTML scripts and yeah.

I already read it. There are things I agree with more or less. While others not so much or at all. That being say there nothing in there that is against the rules.
