Idk.. feel bad? Not like I'd wag my finger and say 'I told you so.' Best thing I can do is try and parent as good as I can and hope that my child listens to what I try to teach him/her.

Are there no Condoms in the USA? I know, condoms are not 100% safe but this forum makes me feel like nobody in the USA is using condoms.

Yikes, I'd like to say I would be supportive and help them.

But hoe deserves it.

Take them to the doctor and get them treated and keep your moralizing to yourself.

1. Find a copy of the old STD videos and make them watch it. 2. Hand them over to the doctor with the video.

Take them to a doctor, obviously. But make sure they learned their lesson.

Help them get the medical attention they need; listen to them if they want to talk; offer a hug if they need some emotional support.

Get more detail about the circumstances if they are willing to talk about it, and provide advice and help them find information that will help them make choices so they can better avoid negative consequences like this in the future.

I'm hoping I would have had opportunities earlier to provide more info about "safer sex" but maybe a refresher/reinforcement conversation would be useful. Or maybe not. I'd kind of need to understand the specific circumstances better.

hmm, my actions will depend on the child, if it were a boy first I'd smack him then tell him that I taught him better than that then take him to the doctor, if it were a girl, I'd first take her to the doctor then hunt down the one who gave her the std and well I'll leave the rest of what will happen to your imagination.
