C looks more flexible as it can be softened by having a 'h' follow it.

k can have an h after it too. Khan is a good example. It would be very confusing if we changed it to chan (although kinda funny).

So if we get rid of k kkkkkkhhhaaaan will now be CHHHAAAAANNNN?

I don't use K so much in my mother language unless you want to informally replace some consonants like "kool".
So I'll eliminate K, it wouldn't affect me so much and if did, it would just be matter of getting used to it

Every language has combinations of letters that make the same sounds. Example: "queso" vs "casa".
You have a voiceless velar plosive at the beginning of either word. The thing is, "que" is ALWAYS a voiceless velar plosive and "c" is ALWAYS a voiceless velar plosive when followed by an "a", "o", or "u".

With English, you have shit like "through" "thorough" "thought" "slough" and "plough". Five different sounds for the same orthography.

C can go

Because if there was a word that had "ch" you could just replace it with "tts" or something.

And Germanic/Romantic words look better with more K.

But this is only my opinion and I've been working with more Asian languages, so ignore what I just said.
