C is more aesthetically pleasing to me. K just looks like one of those letters that a baby tried to draw like when they're putting a square into a circle.

Every language has combinations of letters that make the same sounds. Example: "queso" vs "casa".
You have a voiceless velar plosive at the beginning of either word. The thing is, "que" is ALWAYS a voiceless velar plosive and "c" is ALWAYS a voiceless velar plosive when followed by an "a", "o", or "u".

With English, you have shit like "through" "thorough" "thought" "slough" and "plough". Five different sounds for the same orthography.

Japanese is phonetically consistent. There's no such thing as a Japanese spelling bee. (Just don't bring up kanji interpretations. )

Let's not dumb down the language just because a few morons can't cope with spelling.

Let's also not forget the complete erosion of cases and near complete erosion of conjugation.

Not even gonna say the example I was thinking of.

I'll bet it was this:

This one has two C's and a K in it.

I thinc we would be fine without the letter 'cay' so that's my pic.

is that 'cay' as in 'say'? And is that 'pic' as in 'piss'?
