I'm not necessarily new to anime, but I haven't watched a ton. I'm curious what y'all would suggest based on the list below that I *have* watched! Thanks!

Deathnote (of course!) - The story was fantastic!
Attack on Titan (see above note)
Full Metal Alchemist - I loved the action and story but the comedy was what really sent it overboard
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - same as original
Fairy Tale (Not all, but it's so long I watch it between other anime) - same as FMA
No Game No Life - Interesting story, but not the best; I liked the setting they were in and the fact that they had to think instead of it being all fighting
Akame ga Kill - CR recommended it, and I loved it! The action, humor, I felt like I actually cared about the characters, especially (SPOILERS!!!!!) when they died.
Yona of the Dawn - Another CR commercial, and it turned out great! I wished there was a another season. Action/comedy.
Time of Eve - No action or humor really, but the character development was brilliant!
I just started Hiiro No Kakera and am on the third episode, not too sure of this one at this point...

I guess after listing these out, I'm seeing a pattern of action, adventure, comedy, and a fantastic story.

Thoughts?

Try Fate/Zero and Stay/Night, Parasyte, and Hunter x Hunter. Maybe Madoka Magica, and for off or crunchyroll try Steins; Gate.

I think you'd like The Seven Deadly Sins (action/adventure/comedy). It's about a princess on a quest to find a legendary band of warriors to save her kingdom. (It's not at all like Yona of the Dawn, but it sure sounds like it, haha). You can watch all 24 episodes on Netflix and there's going to be a second season this year. :')

I will also recommend Fate Zero and Stay Night, along with Hunter X Hunter (the 2011 version), The Seven Deadly Sins and Parasyte as many people have since those are shows you could enjoy based on the list.

Also, if you liked Yona I can really recommend The Heroic Legend of Arslan, they have very similar stories, although this one is not on Crunchyroll. Soul Eater is very enjoyable ad was made by the same studio behind Fullmetal Alchemist.

I've watched quite a few. I'll underline my favourites/must watch. Orange = On crunchyroll

Death Note - Code Geass, Death Parade, Another or Bakuman (by same author)

Attack on Titan - Love it also! Watch Hunter x Hunter, Gakkougurashi! One Punch Man

Full Metal Alchemist and Brotherhood - Fate/Zero, then Fate/Stay Night but I would recommend reading the visual novel first. Silver Spoon (sake author as fmab)

Fairy Tail - Definitely watch Magi the Labyrinth of Magic

No Game No Life - Haven't watch it yet but I know it's about games, then watch Hai to Gensou to Grimgar, it's airing and it's currently. Maybe Sword Art Online, I like it but a lot of people hate it as well.

Akame ga Kill - Lol I like it a lot though it seem many people hate it. Now watch Parasyte, Tokyo Ghoul (maybe but I prefer the manga), Mirai Mikki.

Yona of the Dawn ,shoujo/josei huh.... - Kimi no Todoke, Chihayafuru (they say it's good josei) and Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu[ (currently airing). Ore no Monogatari. Akagami no Shirayuki-hime

Other Anime I definitely recommend:
Shirobako man it's so good! Nanatsu no Taizai(action, adventure). Noragami (fantasy) Your Lie in April , my all time favourite (music, romance, slice of life). Shokugeki no Soma (delicious cooking) , Bakemonogatari series also (fantasy, and super cool weirdness). Gekkan Shōjo Nozaki-kun (slice of life, super lol comedy). Durarara!! this is awesome (mystery, suspense, fantasy?). Haikyuu! (sports, comedy) Kuroko no Basuke (sports, drama), Baby Steps (sports, drama, comedy, romance).

Movies: The Girl who lept through time, Wolf Children, Spirited Away (classic), My neighbour Totoro (classic), Princess Mononoke (classic)

I recommend myanimelist.net to track your anime and see more recommendations.

If you want more recommendations, just add me and we can talk.

Trigun: An older anime, but a good mix of action, comedy, drama, and plot.

Monster: Brilliant psychological thriller. Can be a bit hard to track down, unfortunately.

Eureka Seven: Great world, awesome characters, some very good mecha battles, and even a very good romance in there. Plot starts out awesome, but gets a little lost towards the end. Still very good though.

Gargantia of the Verderous Planet: A classic fish-out-of-water tale told very well... and with giant robots, plus anime girls in bikinis.

If you want to try a few things with less action, try:

Nagi no Asukara (AKA A Lull in the Sea) : Drama, romance, some mystery, great art work.

Clannad: First season is a mix of comedy, drama, and harem romance. The second season is a straight romantic drama that will rip your heart out and then try to put it back in again.

Dusk Maiden of Amnesia: Part ghost story, part romance, part mystery, part tragedy, part comedy, but all of it is clever.
