Financially support anime you like if you want to see harems go away. Money talks and right all those harem shows are being made because there profitable. Fans with good taste may dislike them but they make money and anime is incredibly competitive and low profit margin.

I think that's a rather popular opinion.

I like chick magnet characters however if they're done right.
Its understandable if you see some dude who you don't like being surrounded by girls is quite aggravating.
Im quite exhausted of the animes where a girl or girls abuse a man and force him into some kind of submission and treat him like dirt.
No man would put up with it unless certain circumstances that don't seem to be present in those animes

Harem is a lukewarm subject to me. It's accepting that I'm probably going to see the same fluff again if I watch. There are still ways to do an interesting harem, but there are certain pitfalls you just don't do unless you're just pandering to the young.

Yep i am so over them! I loved Tenchi Muyo! and Love Hina back in the day but my god it has been so over done.

I been watching Trinity 7 for about 3 months, cant get through it lol.
I mean some of them are good but some are really lame. I liked Oreimo, didn't seem so over done.

Tenchi Muyo was one of the first ones I watched and I enjoyed it early on. Even then after a while I felt what a good name for the series was because I only continued watching it past a point because of how cool Ryoko was(and her pet cat/rabbit/spaceship/girl?).
OreImo didn't seem to fall into the same traps because at least the first half the series it was about quirky sibling and friendly relationships and I probably enjoyed it to the end because of how the characters were initially built around it. Even if the end felt a bit forced to me.

It's either this, incest-fetish, or the "Accidental marriage contract" series for non-consentual-relationship comedies, where our hero is stuck with the girl anyway, which would you rather prefer?

Yep. That's part of how I think Nisekoi can still be enjoyable. It's a harem in which the characters are trying not to be a harem. At least initially so. If it continues much further, I feel it would probably just be stringing me along in it's attempts to make me like characters for their own merits separate from the chase. I feel they shouldn't add more characters unless they're just there to develop the main cast. Too many times a character will just feel like a monkey wrench and make me want to drop it.

SNAFU seems specially exceptional to me . It may have some harem elements, but it's just playing out in the background. It's not what the story is about. It's about dealing with their social problems and developing the characters takes a forefront.

High school is a dirtier word to me than harem at this point. I feel I'm probably on the money in saying that most anime fans in Japan at this point are past high school so 80% of them shouldn't be taking place in one. At least some are starting to catch on again. You can have shows like Gate that's enjoyable by a young audience(even if the politics make my want to swear), and Non Non Biyori that's fully enjoyable by an adult audience.

True there are a lot of harems and I like harems i don't mind them, but what i don't like is when the MC is a freakin moron and wimp who never gets with anyone.

If they wanna keep using the harem they should at least make the main character a badass and at least get somewhere with the harem either choosing a girl or all of them lol.

Really if they are going to keep using harems which i don't mind, they should at least have a reason for the main character to get a harem or not and just make it funny like with everyday life with monster girls.

Usually I'm not a fan of harems (I certainly wouldn't want to have one unless it's full of yanderes ) but I find them much more tolerable if the MC isn't dense as fuck...

An anime with no Ecchi , no Fanservice , no Harem, no sexual degradation is a dream for me.

Regardless if it's A Shōjo, Shōnen, Josei, Seinen, Yaoi, Yuri, Shōnen-ai, Shöjo-ai, whatever.

For me, it depends are the harem.

I am perfectly fine with the Supporting Harem trope. Who the MC chooses is never really in doubt, the other girls are just there as friends and, in the series I tend to follow, comedy. Actually, I Am is a good example of this.

Hmm I don't mind it as long as the story is interesting or has interesting characters but I can see where everyone is coming from though in all honesty.

Oh lol, who isn't really watching Erased. It's super good and on top of it it doesn't have excruciating fanservice.

Tentacle hentai? What about watching instead a super twisting time-travelling thriller.
