Is that an American Bald Eagle? Why would one of those be in Dutchland?

EDIT:

Probably better known as Holland. I had to look it up, when I realized I've never heard of a country called Dutchland before.

Dutchland? Well never heard that one before
I'm gonna presume you meant The Netherlands.

they are training the eagles to combat criminals who are using drones to commit crime EG delivering drugs or weapons to prisons.

It was meant to be a joke. But in all seriousness if they broke the drones of some of those attention seeking idiots that wouldn't be a bad thing.

Considering Amazon has been carrying out trials for drone delivery, there will be a few incidents/apologies from the company in the future. "We apologise for the delays of your Star Wars DVD however, Larry the eagle was convinced your package contained cocaine.”

Uh, oh! Here is the first of the anti-eagle hunters making their views known, against hunter killer eagles.

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2016/02/160206-eagle-drone-video-rogue-dutch-police-danger-hunting-robot0/

They used Myth Busters' video to show that a drone propeller blade can cut. However, the spinning propeller blade tips were slowly eased into the chicken. An eagle is not going to ease in onto the drone. When it smacks into the drone, the blade is going to get stopped. The propeller blade is not going to have a chance to 'ease' the tip into the eagle. The whole edge of the blade will get smacked into the eagle, and the resistance along the entire edge of the blade will stop the motor from spinning.

The eagles weren't dumb either. Notice that when they caught the drones, they flipped them upside down.

I wonder if they got their idea from this?

It's their own fault for doing drone delivery. But then again, anyone stupid enough to actually want drone delivery deserves their package to be brought down by an eagle. I'll stick to post.
