Have you ever watched a boring/stupid show almost everyday until you just ask yourself "WHY AM I WATCHING THIS?!"

Well on the anime side of things, while I was watching Aoharu x Machine Gun. The first couple episodes felt like just a way to slip in yaoi undertones with gender confusion.

However, the characters started to show promising depth and development. It became a pretty good show and unlike my initial expectations, it asked some good questions. (Still yaoi undertones though. )

Well I think people are free to love however they want as long as they do so responsibly. I can respect homosexual love, but that variety isn't interesting to me. The show proved it's worth to me beyond my initial assessment. The other parts I can overlook as just a part of life.

While that opinion seems slightly homophobic it is at least more respectful than the crap I was expected to put up with back in my High School days.

That's pretty much how it started with Attack on Titan with me. Then it grew on me.

But of course; on one end I watched way too many a few episodes of Fairy Tail before finally admitting it wasn't my cup of tea.

On the other hand, after several attempts to watch the first episode of Bakemonogatari, I finally got into it and have watched pretty much the whole series now.

-and how could I forget Zero no Tsukaima. It was my first tsundere show, and at the beginning I was like, "oh this is cool." First episode of the final season, I was like "nope!" and that was that. I'm still fine with tsunderes if it isn't their defining feature or if they get better over time.

That's how it is for me nowadays.

Gintama was like that...

My Love Story... I couldn't get into though, ever.
