School Days and Photo Kano.
And I've tried three times to watch Photo Kano and can't make it past episode 3 so I've officially dropped it. And that's literally the only anime that I have ever given up on.

Boring and stupid is tolerable. Bad, disfunctional, or narratively inept is not. I'll keep watching boring or stupid as long as there is the hope of it going somewhere eventually. Some do and I feel rewarded for sticking with it and some just fade into obscurity and I forget how many minutes I just allowed to disappear.

Yeah, when watching the rape fest of Triage X, I asked myself that a lot, hoping that it would get good. Never did tho....

Umm not totally.

Like I watch what i know I'll enjoy but also sometimes those shows go though a phase oh dragging something out, like SAO2 (Gun Gale Arc)

And alittle bit of Log Horizon but don't misunderstand, that's show's pretty good.

Diabolik Lovers, it was a trainwreck and when we finally thought the MC was going to do something it wasn't really anything then it wound up getting a second and third season and I was back to watch more of the trainwreck

Clannad all the way. This was always being recommenced to me, and by people who have some good taste in anime.

About halfway through the first season I realized I was forcing myself to watch it. It wasn't horrible but I could've spent my time watching other things.

The second season of Utawarerumono.

The first season was pretty fun, so I just kept expecting the second season to evolve past h-game cliches. It finally kind of did in the last 2 episodes, and I distinctly remember sitting in the dark making Gendo face and thinking.

"Well, there's the payoff. Can you honestly tell me that it was worth it? No? Then what have we learned?"

Edit:
Honorable Mention goes to Fushigi Yuugi. In my defense it was 1999, I had food poisoning for three days, and no internet connection.
Dishonorable mention goes to Rozen Maiden which I watched for an entire episode despite hating it from 5 seconds in.

Well I think people are free to love however they want as long as they do so responsibly. I can respect homosexual love, but that variety isn't interesting to me. The show proved it's worth to me beyond my initial assessment. The other parts I can overlook as just a part of life.

While that opinion seems slightly homophobic it is at least more respectful than the crap I was expected to put up with back in my High School days.

I don't mean any offense with this, but how is that a homophobic response? Having a certain target audience or genre not appeal to you is totally fine and should not be judged upon by others, he said nothing homophobic, all he said was that those parts of life and variety don't appeal to him. I thought he did so in a very respectful and respectable way, I see no harm intended.

While I'm not saying you find his comments harsh, I just want to know why you see this as homophobic so maybe I can better myself and be more careful with my word choice in later conversations because I never know the appeals of people I meet on the internet.
