I enjoy it at the moment, but it's really just holding me over until I get something more stable. I work as a musician so I'm living the dream at the moment, but simultaneously I also still live with my parents, and I fear that trying to make a living on my own one day just off music is a little risky. Until I make a name for myself, assuming I ever do, I'll probably have it as a little hobby I get paid for alongside a boring old 9 to 5.

I need to find a job first. I have my college education, yet no one is hiring. I've put in applications to countless places.

I've put in long hours of work and money to get my degree(BA in Architecture) and have finally found a job that I really like. The first professional job I had after graduation(interior design for high end aircrafts) didn't pay to bad, but it was a living hell. I wrote an entire essay to the boss after he decided to fire half the staff. To be honest, I was days away from quitting anyways. Besides it being miserable, it took me 3 hours to get there. The second job post grad was enjoyable, but I was getting paid less than peanuts. My current job is pretty great, the staff and boss are really easy to get along with,I'm at a decent entry level payscale, and can drive to work in 45 minutes. Im gaining quality experience and plan on staying as long as I feel I'm gaining knowledge.

Currently working in health care as an X-Ray Technologist. It is both a challenging and rewarding career. It is a major improvement over the manufacturing plant I worked in prior where the morale was so low you couldn't scrape it off the floor with a razor.

50/50.
The good;
I live close by, the working conditions are good(clean, safe, physio and first aid provided), the pay is pretty good, i like most of the people that i work with and there is a decent canteen.
Oh and we get days off sometimes and have raffles and sometimes a free food is provided.

The bad;
I have been there too long (over 11 years), the starting time!! (6:15am), there is no more afternoon shift, some of the bosses are wankers, repetitive work, not much overtime anymore (could also be considered a good thing), its closing in a year or two or so, they have become very strict!

I LOVE MY JOB. I'm content with it until I get my BSN.
