Just wanted to post a heads up to anyone thinking of subscribing to their DokiDoki Crate, everything included has been confirmed to be counterfeit merchandise. Please support the anime industry and legit business and do not buy from this company. Even large figure manufacturers like GoodSmile Company have posted warnings and asked for fans not to support them.

Really disappointed Crunchyroll would partner with a company doing business like this.

I'll never understand why people buy this shit in the first place, but that's just me. I'm going to assume CR didn't know of this beforehand. Would be rather odd to continue forth knowing such info prior. (I don't know who CR is partnered with, nor do I care really)

Sorry about that, I may have copied it wrong as Facebook links are kinda weird.

Otherwise just go to GoodSmile Company's facebook page and it's currently the 3rd post down.

Edit: Here's a tweet from GoodSmile's twitter about the issue as well.

Sadly, it wasn't even limited to just the figures in these boxes, literally the entire box has been full of bootlegs for the past 3 months. :(

good thing I don't buy this shit
If I want to buy a figure individually I'll buy it from a direct site or the most trustworthy source I can
also with "loot crates" you don't even know what you're getting, right? I don't see the point in buying them if the product or products included are selected from a roulette, I might hate what I get. At least that's what I heard about these "crates". They don't seem like a safe bet.
CR dun goof'd

http://www.play-asia.com/ has, in my dealings with them, had a great history of shipping authentic merch.

Never heard of them anyway so it doesn't really affect me.

Just posting it here because Crunchyroll partnered with Japan Crate recently giving away a free crate with a Crunchyroll sub. I figured people on here might like to know if it applies to them. I know I for one, cancelled my Japan Crate candy subscription just on the principle of how they're treating their DokiDoki crate subscribers. I don't want to support a company like this.

That's where I get all my imported games.

I get a monthly box from Oyatsubox. It's all candy and chip snackie stuff. No bootlegs here. Strongly recommend them and I've been a customer for over a year. Very reliable.

That's horrible. If I was their subscriber, I would be very disappointed.

I'm personally not a fan of loot crates because I don't want to spend a lot money ($30/month) on receiving items that I'm not interested in or in this case, bootlegs.

Man just looked at japancrates legal stuff.
They have disclaimers that they are pretty much not liable for anything. Not even missing items.

I've seen shady legal disclaimers before, but not many like this.

Oh you gotta cut and paste that shit here, I always loves the "It's not our fault if you get cancer from eating our treats" style shit.

Too much to cut and past
Link here.
https://japancrate.com/terms-conditions

Risk of loss is annoying - not responsible if you don't get anything
Limitation of Liability - they aren't reponsible for any problems at all with what gets sent
Indemnification - you can't say jack about them no matter what they did. Even if your box was loaded with crack, heroin, meth, whiskey, poisoned rum, human corpse, dog crap, yesterdays trash, etc....

And more up to date news:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2016-02-14/japan-crate-doki-doki-crate-ships-with-bootleg-items-company-responds/.98557

They went and still sent feb like that even after they said feb would be fine (they claimed they wouldn't get them from the same company but still had).
If they really were trying, they'd be having regular quality checks of what was being packaged in those boxes.
