Does slow extermination of the human race even fall under the definition of population control?

The stupidity of this idea just completely boggles my mind.

It would make sex that much kinkier and desirable.

I've already given up on getting a gf anyway so that wouldn't affect me at all.

Imagine this scenario: An overpopulated world where heterosexual relationships are illegal in order to try and decrease procreation. Anyone found breaking this law will be executed without exception. Fairly extreme measures have been put in place to try and prevent heterosexual relationships as much as possible (e.g. people being implanted with chips that record who they're in contact with, for how long, of what sex the other person is, etc.)
However, homosexual relationships are perfectly legal.

What would you do in this scenario? Would you be fine with not being allowed to be in any heterosexual relationships - or at least, having to be extremely secretive and careful about them
?

I probably wouldn't care, or even agree with it. If overpopulation has reached the point where such drastic measures have to be taken, it's probably for the best.

Oh good grief. Heterosexual and homosexual relationships are not apples to apples, so using this "scenario" to compare with past and existing laws against homosexual behavior is a complete and utter FAIL.

It also ignores that there are extreme laws and practices against certain types of heterosexual behavior that still exist in many parts of the world. Women still get executed for adultery and for premarital sex in parts of the world, and bad things can still happen to men who participate in such activity.

This "scenario", of course, is nonsense. While regulations on heterosexual relationships has been the subject of laws throughout history, your "scenario" results in human extinction: Ergo, FAIL!
