ska is a genre that mix rock with regae,
became popular during the 90's.
it had impact, in so many places n country,
making bands like kingshango, to less than jake
to the mighty mighty boston.

so could the ska vibe, work in anime?
my take yeah, if it has the type of animation a la 4c or trigger ,
it could work. as for a story highschool one, with moe flavor but
supernatural tone too, with street level style.

as always thank for been awesome.

I think it would work easily. I've seen urban anime with jazz. How about Durarara or Hamatora

The important thing is for the music to suit the anime, and add to it. If it does, more power to them, but I suppose it's just not for me so in my eyes it would probably be difficult to see it in a positive light, most likely, it would seem very jarring to me to hear music like that in anime, can't imagine it.
