I am 100% positive this will have already been posted but what do you guy do?

I normally do 30 minutes of cardio, 10 - 20 minutes of weight training, roughly 5 times a week

I don't drive so I walk everywhere. I've also taken up running to the train before work as to avoid small talk from randoms.

Does this count?

5 mile jog every morning (with 5 minutes of walking allowed in-between the 5 miles).

I don't weight lift as I cant get arm muscle for the life of me.

I also fence and am planning to join a judo club again... that or Tae Kwan Do... Such a beautiful fighting style. What isn't to like about kicking people?!

I would also join a sailing club (more physical than you would think lol). Just kinda 300 miles from the nearest lake and 500 from the ocean.

That sounds pretty good, how long did it take you to get up to 5 miles? I really don't like running because I assume I don't know how to run correctly because my shins always hurt after a few minutes.

Also that sailing club would totally help with the arms since you need to work the sails and what not.

10 cardio
Circuit training (which consists of leg workout and sprints)
Then weight training

That's usual my routine. Been trying to go consistently. Mostly 3 a week workouts

Not sure how long it took me to get to 5 miles. My entire family was high ranking Army Officers who graduated from West Point. I was of course being groomed to follow the same pack. I ended up with medical issues denying me that right. I still maintained the fitness though.

I was also an avid sailor (with my father). We had a 23' sailboat that was more relaxing. If you want a more rigorous one you would need a catamaran. That or a hydrofoil sailboat (those are insane to control!). Try sailing some day if you can. It is something not many have been able to do it seems!

Yeah I wouldn't mind trying it one day I think that would be pretty neat. Hopefully since I've been doing the high intensity crap I could run for longer now but I have yet to try it. Must have been pretty sweet to do that kind of stuff.

It was pretty sweet. I still don't have even 5% of the experiences my father has though. He has done so much stuff. He even did the JFK 50 mile marathon (a 50 mile run!). Then he has pictures and stories of Desert Storm, training stories and everything. I hope I can be even 10% of the man he is.

Not sure who would win in a fight between the two of us too. Wouldn't want to loose to a 55 year old man!
