Thanks a bunches.

An incel is an adult who desires romantic or sexual experiences, but has not had any for an extended time (over 6 months) for reasons other than purposely abstaining from them, especially if said person has never had these experiences. Some incels have dated or had relationships, but not had sex.

Incel stands for involuntary celibacy

So, are you an incel or not?

Enjoy!!!

As a cisgender hetero metrosexual, I'm not into the whole "21st century labels" thing to explain my social situation, and prefer the more layman's terms--

I'm what they used to call "Incels" back in the 80's and 90's: "A Lonely Guy".

I suppose.

The OP mentions desires for "romantic experiences". In that sense, I might be an "incel". Sex itself is something i'm not as interested in though. Would that make me a "volcel" or whatever you call it? I would never have sex outside a relationship, and can't even really imagine myself doing so in one unless my partner just really desired that aspect.... but conversely, I can't really see myself trying to get in a relatiionship with someone where sex is such a vital aspect of the relationship.

Perhaps that's part of why i'm an incel, now that I think about it.

Not sure what you're referring to, but if it's the literal meaning of the terms, it's because i'm caught between the desire for a relationship with an ambivalence toward sex. The terms get muddled when it's not voluntary or involuntary.

If that's not what you're referring to, then I'm afraid I really don't know

But I do. I just want a relationship. Fairly straightforward, i'd say.

Hmm. I can see your point there. But, then again, that's a prime reason why labels don't really work. Nothing is as black and white as labels try to purport.

Any mods or admins, permission to speak freely?

Both you and PV always seem to entertain me.

Its unusual for you to hold your tongue.
Well...since I appear to be the oldest one here I say say your piece in plain English.
