What I like most about this is that it proves that Kanye isn't as arrogant or egotistic as people make him out to be. An arrogant person wouldn't put their financial status out there like that, nor would they openly ask for help from people they look up to.

Oh man, it's sad to see so much hate against a misunderstood tweet. He is not in any financial trouble. He tweeted that he still has enough money to buy houses and extravagant gifts for his family the next 500 years basically.

What he wants from Zuckerberg is an investment in one of his business-ventures. He doesn't want a 1 billion dollar handout from Mark, but an investment. Just like Kanye himself invested a lot of his own personal money in to renting Madison Square Garden and his fashion collection in 2015 (Which contrary to popular belief actually did very well as a debut-collection). He's a very excentric person who instantly writes and posts what he thinks. That's why the tweets are so often misunderstood.

Like him or not, he has huge dreams and plans for the future, but like many other businessmen he needs the capital to build the dreams.

What is actually cringy here is seeing how quickly you people jump on the hate bandwagon. He acts no worse than the countless rock and popstars that came before him, but for some reason he receives a lot more hate. He says stupid shit, he's done stupid shit, he has apologized for most of said stupid shit and is extremely passionate about his work/"art". Not to mention how much he loves and appriciates his family. Unlike mosts rappers who take a firm stance against homosexuality, he has openly supported Bruce/Kaitlyn Jenners transition as a trans-person

It saddens me to see you all pass judgement so quickly. I thought the crunchyroll-forums would be a nicer place, but i guess i was wrong

Lol

If people aren't planning on being constructive here, i can phrase it a little better for you, D4nc3Style, King of the Weeb forums;

You guys don't know shit, and you all look like envious losers when trash-talking the arguably most succesful rapper of all time on a forum mainly dedicated to discussing animes. It reeks of jealousy in here

Yeah, that doesn't mean shit to me. He is, and forever will be the biggest bitch in the world right next to his wife.

I'm guessing you also don't know what "General Discussion" means.

Just because someone has more money than me doesn't make me jealous. I'm very glad I'm not a dickhead (at least publicly). Looks like you and Kanye have something in common now, weebstuen.

Didn't say anything about being jealous about money. I wrote an answer to all the undeserved bashing and wrongful speculation around the subject of his "debt". And the most articulate answer you guys could muster was "lol", "still a bitch" and "dickhead". Without providing any reason or argument against what i wrote. Which leads me to believe that you're either 1. not interested in having a discussion (Just coming here to circlejerk about hating Kanye) or 2. you didn't have anything to counter my first post with.

If its the first one, it seems like that kind of anger against someone you don't even know comes from jealousy. If it's the second one then i'm sorry you can't find any real reason to feel so strongly against him, but still do for some reason. And if it's none of them, i'd love to have an actual articulated opinion here instead of just curse words and jealousy

Wow, such harsh words against someone who never harmed you. I don't care if it "doesn't mean shit to" you. It's still a pretty pathetic behaviour from a 26 year old man and I really hope you can learn to put this mindless hate away and not teach it to those who look up to you.

Also, your assumption about me not knowing what "General Discussion" means was wrong. I was talking more about the theme of the site and forums as a whole. Crunchyroll is without a doubt mainly dedicated to animes, and will therefore be influenced by that. Even in the General Discussion. Opposed to, say, a hip-hop forum where people actually have knowledge of artists in the genre

The great Hitler-comparison. That's how you know someone has lost an argument. Hitler strategically tried to commit genocide. And a whole list of other terrible crimes. Kanye probably tweeted something along the lines of "I am god" and you lost your insecure shit and started hating him. After a bunch of explanations and arguments from me, you still can't articulate anything other than hate without a reason and jealousy instead of my point as a whole. I pity whoever has to deal with your baseless hate. I really do. You seem like a genuinly shitty person to be around. Hating someone as much as you do, without even providing a reason and throwing your absolutely hollow insults around.

It seems like no one here is willing to actually be constructive, so i'm out. But please dude, don't teach your daughter to be as shitty as you are. Just because it's a celebrety doesn't mean your words don't carry weight. And just because a lot of other people seem to agree with your opinion of him, doesnt mean that actually hating someone is small thing.

Isn't this the same guy that had a track on his last album decrying consumerism in black culture while contributing to said consumerism by trying to sell said album (not to mention a fashion line)? Or is it only suburban white kids that buy his music nowadays?
