You mean like in the 80's and 90's when sci-fi/mecha anime reigned supreme? Heck yes, I'd watch even more anime.

If by "still", you mean, would I go BACK to watching more of it without moe, pantsu, harems or marriage contracts?
Yes. If only.

(And, like Lannae says, from back in the 90's, when they assumed regular people watched anime, and put it on before late-nite hours.)

Yes, I find the harem stuff funny too though.

Probably, though i'd likely watch far less of it.

I think i'm the inverse of most in that I prefer the lighthearted stuff with interludes of serious shows to keep me interested. Lolis and pantsu I can do without, but no moe would be a bit too much for me. I need some sort of lighthearted release from daily stress.

Tsundere can be a funny trope but I can live without it. And I really don't seek out panties and loli's.

But no moe? I'd like anime a hell of a lot less, that's for sure.

Yes. Actually, I'd probably be watching more anime if they eliminated those things. Very little catches my attention these days.

Yes. Especially since I prefer the more serious toned series over the fluffy and slice of life ones. However, I do like something lighthearted for anime from time to time, so those things in small doses would be all right. As for the tsundere thing, you can do that in a more serious anime and have it work without overdoing it. Such an example is Rin in Fate/Stay Night.

No. I hate it if that ever happens but no I will not stop watching anime because of that.
That will be dumb of me. Just because superhero movies stop being made, doesn't mean I will not watch other kinds of movies.

Depends what you mean by moe.

I probably would not watch Heroic Legend of Arslan if Arslan were not so moe. The story got kind of stupid less than half way through, and I kept thinking, "Why am I watching this?" ... and then he'd be there and be so adorable and I'd be like, "yeah, that's why."

If you expand the definition to include more hot pretty-boy characters (like Narsus and Daryun), I probably would not watch the same shows. I wouldn't watch K if they all looked like regular ugly people off the street. I'd just read a book with no pictures that had a similar story and imagine them looking pretty like that.

But they just wouldn't be themselves if they weren't pretty.

"loli/pantsu/tsundere" is different from "pretty characters/moe" though. Tsundere can be cute when it's a small part of a larger whole of characterization (e.g. Kuroh towards Shiro and Fushimi towards Yata in K). But it's only cute when they get over it eventually.
