How is your tie tying game?
Are you a civilized human being or a barbarian?

Who is a student at what is basically a private school with a dress code. Thus no actual work that carries an honest salary or pay cheque. I don't consider school a job, anything that requires only a 51% success rate to pass is not work.

I know how to tie a Pratt knot, half-Windsor and Windsor knot.

Learned to tie a Pratt from my father, as that's what he always used. Learned Windsor on my own and prefer it because I have a neck like a giraffe. Looking up different methods is how I actually know my father used a Pratt knot, as I had no idea what it was called before that. I have a modest collection of ties. I don't necessarily wear one daily, but it isn't a rare occurrence either.

When buying neckties try to steer clear of polyester. Harder to get a decent knot with it and the material looks cheap regardless. Silk is really the way to go in my opinion.
