I threw a rock at a homeless guy at my work. Well, threw back at him since he tried to hit me with it first when I asked him to leave since I caught him shooting up heroin on property.

Ouch, not cool. On one hand I really hope you don't hate this poor soul for shooting heroin but on the other hand that's really not cool doing it in public, especially if they discard the needle where anyone (especially a child) could find it. That in no way excuses him for throwing a rock at you. Best thing would have just been to call the cops in that situation. I don't know. I just always feel really bad for the homeless and it's even worse when they're addicts. That's a horrible addiction. Still, I'm pretty sure you handled the situation way better than most people would. Not trying to judge you or anything. I definitely think what he did was not cool and he shouldn't have been on anyone else's property to begin with.

To answer the original question: I don't throw stuff at people. I'm more of a hurtle stuff at inanimate objects kind of guy. The wall, the tv, the computer (although I try really hard to avoid hitting innocent electronics) etc are all fair game. If for some odd reason I become that angry and throw something it would be away from people, especially whoever I'm mad at. I don't like or condone physical violence and even while blinded by rage I go out of my way to avoid it. Now throwing stuff at siblings is fair game though. Little brothers and sister are required by law to annoy their older siblings no less than 222.4 times a week or they stand to lose their little brother/sister license and no younger sibling worth his/her salt wants to do that. We take our jobs VERY seriously.

Just threw a pillow at my cat for being grouchy in the morning. Needless to say, she returned the favor with a full clawed ankle tackle.

I threw a pillow at my sister today. I was so bored I had to do something. I already wasted my day on the internet so I grabbed a pillow and threw it.

When I threw a rock over my friends head to scare him (when we were in middle school). It did a freakishly weird triple bounce (deflected off a fence straight up, landed on a playground slide, slid down, ricocheted off a posted basketball net and landed on his head) and he ended up needing stitches because of it. The weird part is the hit seemed to defy Einstein's Theory of Relativity when it came to that triple bounce. It even seemed to speed up when it should've slowed down. The only other time I'd ever seen something similar to this happen was while playing mousetrap.

Tossing stale bread out my window to the crows that wait for it.... probably doesn't count since they aren't people though...
