100% depends on the game.

Games like CoD I tend to play on console.
I always go for PC on stuff like Dragon Age.
Action/Adventure-type games I usually get on console.

Sometimes I just prefer to play a game leisurely on the coach and sometimes sitting in front of my monitor with my headset is preferable. No single answer for me.

Yeah depends on the game. I used to be 100% consloe now iam like 100% PC.
I miss playing games on console sometimes but i dont really play fighting games or platform games or racing games or JRPG's anymore so its PC all day.
I love FPS games and i cant play them with a control pad.
And i play more western RPG's these days and games like xcom, shadow run etc and i like to play them with keyboard and mouse.

Also, a BIG factor is that games look like crap on a console compared to an up to date PC. You get what you pay for basically.
if all you can afford is a xbox or pc then sweet, but if you can afford a good PC well your games will look a hell of alot better, more frames per second etc.
Some good examples would be say Fallout 4 for example, play it on console with only 30 FPS and limited FOW etc on PC 60 FPS and etc
Or Battlefield 4, when it came out on 360 and ps3 it looked like shit on console and you were limited to only 32 players and smaller maps, on PC you had 64 players servers.
etc

PC MASTER RACE SIGNING IN.

I play a lot of strategy games, RTS, and open world RPG's so...mouse and keyboard are pretty damn mandatory for me.

The only thing I prefer a console and controller to play is turn based RPG's. But outside of Dragon Quest and handheld ports that is pretty much a dying genre at this point, so I've gotten along swimingly without needing to buy any modern consoles.

Since I gave away my gaming PC, I only have my xbox one left. Console is where all my friends play, so...

PC, why? because it's a versatile entertainment system. My girl Holly only plays on PC or Nintendo consoles.

Whichever has the game I want to play at the time I want to play it. For me the most important part of gaming is the actual games and not the hardware.

When I was a console player I was still using a PC for reading my mails, watching videos on youtube or writing text files. I guess everybody does the same that's why I become a PC gamer. When you have a ( good ) PC you don't really need a console for play games, but when you have a console in some way you still need a PC for doing other stuff. So I spend more money in my computer so I can do everything I want with it ^w^

Yeah once you fork out over $700 just for your GPU, you aint gonna go buy a console. I haven't bought a console since Xbox 360 and i cant see myself ever buying one again. I do still want a PS3 one day though, for all those JRPG's..

But as others have said, pc is multi purpose, i do everything on my pc, its connected to my tv. I pretty much do everything on there.

Also as others mentioned, all my friends are pc, iam in a gaming clan on pc and i work with some pc players. But most my gaming work mates seem to be console though.

Another thing, games are always cheaper on pc than they are on console. Especially if you buy digital copies. And then theres Steam and the steam sales
