I was wondering if you guys can do this so that we can add our favorite shows of what we've seen, interested to, catch-up on, or to keep in our watch collection.

The reason why I'm suggesting this is because there have been some issues with the queue tab, one of the major ones for the Xbox One because of the app loads, freezes, and crashes, repeatedly (checked the issues section and the blame seems to be placed on the queue).

The fave button doesn't have to work as the queue tab like placing the thumbnail of your next episode, jumbled list on your queue, etc. just simply put the anime title and a hotlink to the page as well as alphabetized (kind of like my outdated list on my user page as an example).

They need to do something other than the current"Just keep everything in a single, large, queue" method.

Problem is, people ave been asking this for a very long time and there hasn't even been a hint of any such thing even being in the pipeline.

And, before other people suggest is, third-party sites aren't necessarily a good workaround. They're fine for just tracking shows you're interested in but if you want to keep tabs on everything that's on just CR, and to be able to quickly hunt these down in the official CR apps, then third-party sites re useless.

Just curious... what do you see when you go here? /favs
If you ever had a watchlist, or any other kind of list, it should still be available there, but if you never created one then it's too late to do it anymore...

Agreed. The queue button helps out by showing which episode your on next, which I feel is useless because you have a tracker bar underneath the thumbnail of the episodes to help for that, but for the console versions I don't know why they don't appear there.

@asharka
I see an old list I once had, but these ones are more of articles, which has more other random favorites like group, singers, bands, topics, etc. not much to do with adding a series to the list other than their article form, plus you don't have access like these on console or phone apps. I remember this function that was more like a hit-and-miss to me and I had trouble trying to figure how things worked exactly, or how to find things specifically.

Omg please add this it is sorely lacking feature.

I pay for crunchyroll and having gone through a few series find it the biggest pain in the ass trying to manage current and old series in one location.

Queue is really only good for managing current series like one were you wait each week to watch. it makes a crappy Watch Later list and a Favorites list.

I have had people personally tell this was a major reason they would not pay for crunchyroll.

Well, it's not supposed to be either of those things, as indicated by the name "queue."

True but then where are those features? I find a show i want to watch later where do i put it? I finish a show that was fantastic and want to save it to watch later or share later but i cant because they don't exist on crunchyroll. so instead when i find a show that i want to watch later to add it to the queue because i do want to watch it later but i work and can't binge watch anime all day and when I finish a show and want to save it as a favorite i just end up leaving it it my queue because i don't want to forget about it.

and in the end my queue just ends up being cluttered and a mess.

Well, to be fair, I don't see anything like that on Funimation or Netflix, either (Netflix has multiple profiles, but you pay extra for more of those)... And while Hulu does have a "favorites" record method available, their watch history page isn't any better than CR's, being only episodal as well.

I'm not saying it would be a bad thing to have, I would love it, too: /forumtopic-836061/collected-queue-suggestions-wishes-and-thoughts

But what would happen is that account sharing would become much more convenient if they were to do that. Even if that isn't what you or I would do or intend, sure as the internet exists, it would happen much more often. Right now, as things are, it provides at least a soft deterrent because it is a real pain when someone messes up your watch history, especially with simulcasts...

So, unpalatable as it is, there are only a couple ways to do it.

Keep track on an external site (as someone above stated they definitely didn't want to do), where at least the names and show information is pre-loaded, so you can make meaningful lists with a minimum of effort.

Or keep your own lists, either in a spreadsheet, text file, etc or create your own bare-bones web page here on CR with bbcode from the link on your CR profile, which could be as simple as a text list, or be as elaborate as something like what I have done for my Rotten Sushi exploration pages like this:
