If it is an anime that I am really into I will tend to watch all the episodes including the fillers, just so I can say i have seen all the episodes.

Depends on if the filler is good/ purposeful. Like if it's used for character bonding, sure. If it's a literal recap episode, then no.

Depends on how well done they are. One Piece is an example of great fillers. Since you never know what island they'll hit next, you never know when the island they're on is part of the actual main story or just a filler arc. It also makes sense for them to occasionally hit an island that they weren't planning to since they're sailing the uncharted.

Naruto is an example of very poorly done fillers. Not only are they boring, but how many times have we seen Obito's back story now? 4? 5? I was pretty open minded for a long time, but at this point I don't even know why they're still making fillers, there was so many they should have just stopped. lol

One Piece hasn't had very many fillers. Out of the total of 730 episodes including today's, there's only been roughly 70-80 fillers ENTIRELY. I mean, Eiichiro knows what he's doing. That man can write.

As for OP's question, I watch it all. I have this sense that I absolutely need to watch every single episode that has come out or it doesn't feel right. However, some have movie adaptations and I cannot watch the movies whatsoever.

It depends, but I think the 2003 FMA series is the best filler show.

DBZ broke me from that habit back in the early 2000's. When I watched certain series on YouTube I would speed through the 2-minute OP and ED if they appeared similar episode to episode. It depends upon how much time I have in a day / week whether to "suffer" through the fillers or severely fast-forward edit them.

Sometimes. If I can see that this is gonna go on for a while and they've already lost me, then yes. I've experienced this with some of the Fairy Tail filler arcs.
If I can't even tell the difference between it and the canon storyline, or if it's actually interesting, then I'll keep watching. A good example of this is Gintama.
