You mean, you don't believe in any politician? Well, I'm pretty sure, I don't believe in anyone anymore.
Here where I live it's a fucking mess, it's not politics anymore...

Might be easier for people to answer if people knew what you mean by "political atheist" and why you think the answer could ever be "No."

An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in a god/gods. I can't fathom any reason why someone would think that would be inconsistent with having political interests.

And if you do mean "don't believe in politicians" as Nasirei suggests, then "atheist" is not at all the right word to be using.

I said "yes" because I assumed you meant a politically active atheist.

Let's break down "atheism"

"a-": anti, opposite, without
"the-" comes from Greek word "theos", meaning "God"
"-ism" act, practice.

If you mean a politician who is an atheist, then of course. If anything, they would probably make a better politician than a religious person because they're unlikely to be biased.

If you mean not believing in politics or politicians...well I think even if we don't want to admit it we all have an opinion to some degree on issues that affect us. But it's easy to lose faith in any politicians these days. And a large amount of people have become indifferent and uninterested in politics and don't even bother to vote.

I'm thinking the words you may have been looking for instead of political atheist is nonpartisan or apolitical - so yes one can be either of those.
