So the past few weeks motivation to study and exercise has been on a downer, which is god damn anoying! Most days I do actually get work done, but even then it has been stupidly difficult to get through! I know this happens from time to time with everyone and it's just a matter of getting through it....

So my question is has this happened to anyone else before? And how'd you get through it?

This always happens to me.
I usually listen to music when I'm working out, and mostly things that keep me upbeat.

But as far as studying or working, I tend to use Binaural Beats or Isochronic Tones. You can look it up on Youtube and see which ones work for you.

I struggle with depression.
Remember that you will never be given more than what you can take. You are strong.
Personally I read the Bible. Even if you aren't religious it has great motivation in it.

This worked for me back in my college days i was a keen gamer when i was in my teens and found it hard to focus on my studies i was way more into gaming then learning. So i started listening to classical music it calmed me down and i began to focus on my coursework and art projects more, classical music might not work for you but cannot hurt to try ?

I just feel bad if I DON'T do some form of excercise

For studying, I cry while I do it :'(

I dont know if you have lost weight exercising. But for me i look at myself. Then at an old picture of me, and that usually gets me to the gym.

You probably have to get someone to ether do something along with you or get people to check up on you

Use others for motivation

Study.... such a lovely word, I never do it, but I always get the grades good except in exam period, horror happens.

I force myself, take breaks, drink tea, close all doors, put away all distractions, and study...

wait till you get to an age where you'll lose the motivation to wake up. and you find that even walking to the bookstore is a huge accomplishment. that's when you know you've really lost the plot.

You have all made me feel a lot more normal, as I can relate to most of these posts - so thanks!

By the end March only have my major project to do so that is keeping me going for the short future,a long with a ton of coffee!

crying only makes us connected in this river stream with every single drop, need it but never overflow it or there would be an outbreak.

oh well.. motivated find the fun or things to do something like just simple puzzles/chess or simply put it if you enjoy such games.
but then for the body, try having a place to walk to or have something to do either just getting something to eat or just something else while not forcing you (sounds like forcing you would not help?) but make it more a common thing to do and enjoying it (or if you find a path either in a mountain close or something else)

I'm getting through a bad case of senioritis right now. A bad grade on a recent test and the corresponding destruction of my grade are motivation enough. But I advise not letting it get that far.
