It is the proof capitalism works, not the problem caused by it.

But to extent I think its a problem when people are barely scrapping by.

Which is why we have social welfare programs to meet their most basic needs.

No one is really entitled to anything beyond that.

Okay then, satisfied.

No one said otherwise, but nice try. What is conspicuous though is the unwillingness to share any of the benefits.

divide both sides of the inequality by 0, then see the world implode.

The benefits are cheaper products for everyone, further research and development of new products, steady employment and improved quality of life.

I was watching a Chinese movie that was banned in the country of its own inception called "To Live", and it shows china through 3 decades where the country is so much more differant through them:

the 1940s, post-world war II China was caught up in a civil war between Nationalist, and Communist forces, each really not that better than the other. Once the Communists push the Nationalists to Taiwan, they take all of the rich folk, steal their estates "in the name of the People's Republic of China", execute them as enemies of the state, and call it wealth redistribution... there are ways to do it in a more sublime manner, like overburdening taxes on the rich, etc. In my opinion, when the government doesn't really have a firm grip on things, it is more prosperous, and free. I don't really like getting political too much anymore, but that is my true unbias opinion.

Also, Hong Kong, an autonomous region inside China, was voted the "freest nation in the world", and provides 35% of china's economy. Let me emphasize the word "Autonomous" there...

We don't, you do by taking advantage of opportunities and bettering yourself. The only thing stopping you from earning more money is yourself. That's not to say I don't believe in charity and helping the poor, I very much do, but I don't think envying what others have is a healthy thing for anyone.

"Myth?"

Some New York lawmakers were making changes to their state food stamps, making it so those on it cannot buy lobster and steak, and the Left went ballistic.

Which is surprising, since they keep saying there aren't any welfare queens doing just that!

Makes you wonder why they got so angry over it, eh?

And you aren't American?

Then of course you think the "bootstraps" way of life is a myth.

Since, ya know, we've probably subsidized the hell outta your country for decades.

It's not a problem you communist. Just limit companies on how they can buy out one another and you will effectively cap the size of these companies and how much the top CEO can get paid. Make investment firms pay the same tax rate as anyone else and the problem will be solved.

Everyone should have equal opportunity not equal pay.

This is what forced income equality gets you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-mUZRP-fpo

Money would be worthless if it were limitless, which is why it is finite, like resources, and thus why someone effectively hoarding money has more than they need to sustain their life style while effectively holding money away from the lower class.

It's difficult to explain. If you're a lower class dude walking into a lower class store, they're obviously not thinking about how much money Bill Gates has. They're thinking about how much money you have and what a reasonable, affordable price for you is. Bill Gates never, ever buys anything from them. His money effectively doesn't exist.
