I found a deeply disturbing anime on site. It looks like something suitable for six-year-old girls in the first episodes, but it gets ecchi and then sick. I'd like to be able to discuss my severe misgivings with a responsible administrator. I haven't found a way to quietly and privately voice these concerns to anyone in this company. If you actually exist within the layers of swaddling protecting you from your customers, please contact me. Someone needs to be aware of this.

You can use the /contact form to send a message to customer support. What anime are you talking about?

Yes, I'm curious. Normally there are quite a few videos with SUPER mature content (Grotesque has rape and dismemberment. Toilet of the Dead Is just Gross.) , and it is reputed that some of them do not have filters.

However, take this into consideration. What was the purpose of the scene? To arouse or make a point? Remember, when it comes to featuring graphic sexual activity, sometimes it's better to show it for the story's impact. In other words, don't really cry about a show depicting such gross acts if they are meant in a way to hit down a point.

Frankly I'd go down on "freedom of fetishes", but I'm conflicted on whether or not we need a filter rather than responsible parenting. At very least an age rating. Some shows are naturally deceiving. Like School Live. Got to pay attention to ratings ya know.

And I checked a couple of anime, and its quite hard to find an age rating. By which I mean on this site. Maybe CR can team up with MAL or AnimePlanet to check ratings? Iunno.

I assume she just wanted an age rating or something. I think age ratings are very important and should be easily available without going to MAL.

As beardfist mentioned, the /contact form is a good way to notify CR staff of your concern.

I've gone ahead and changed this thread title since the other one did seem misleading, and like someone was trying to mess with the help forums (which turned out not to be the case.)

Yeah; it's really difficult to google a series before watching it.. And I might be wrong but isn't there a "mature-content-on/off-option"?

And that still doesn't explain the completely misleading title of the thread.

The mature content option doesn't affect the site when viewing on a computer, just on apple or sony devices since those platforms have specific requirements for mature content.

Some people aren't acquainted with websites like MAL and I feel merely linking a site that CR is in no way affiliated with to be beyond unprofessional. There needs to be a professional way of handling this, and I feel it could be anything from clear and concise ratings to partnering with MAL to do something. You can't just say "Hey, go to this site" because that's something a user would suggest, not a streaming site.

And concerning CR's continued glitchiness, I wouldn't be surprised if age warnings fail to show up.

Didn't CR partner with Anime-Planet at some point?

I apologize to all. I hadn't meant to be misleading, but forthright. I did not mention the series by name on purpose because I do not want to advertise it. My thanks, once again and always, to loreen for always looking after me, and to Otter Modder for his help. As I said, "quietly and privately."

The point is that there was NO way to know what was in there. The art, the apparent premise, the first episodes all seemed innocent, if a little eccentric. The middle began to veer, and the end tore the whole thing.

Adults deciding what to watch is freedom. No Question. No Objections.

The contact has been made. This thread is closed.

All titles on site should at least be considered to be for a PG-13 audience. Our selection of anime for children (e.g. Japanese morning programming) is fairly limited, and the Japanese age rating does not necessarily overlap with the potential US ratings for these shows.
