Ranwolf - There there, I'm sure one day you'll meet the psycho-bitch of your dreams, and together you'll family a clan of great honor and power.

Hey don't call my non existent girlfriend / wife a psycho-bitch. It's very rude and condescending..Though damn fathering a whole damn clan. Geez a couple of kids but a clan usually means a couple of hundred people. Geez it's a vagina not a clown car ya know.

And besides I don't want to marry or even sleep with a Yandere I just want to find one in real life. I was quite happy with my Tsundere finance until Fate decided to put her in a car accident and subsequently the grave .

You know, all the "dere" archetypes are pretty much just exaggerations of real life behaviors. You probably won't find someone who'll always tell you "I'm not doing this because I like you or anything, baka!" However, you'll probably find someone who'll come close to that kind of behavior just a bit.

Although, I think the most realistic "dere" would have to be dandere. I've seen plenty of shy girls who act exactly like that. Tsundere in anime and tsundere in real life would be really different from each other unless the real life "tsundere" is acting like an anime character on purpose to play the role.

Going about my life I've never actually encountered anyone that I would classify as a "tsundere." Has anyone out there ever met a person in real life that actually fits the stereotypical behavior of this common Japanese character archetype? What are they like? Were they an acquaintance, friend, romantic conquest?

This is just something I've been curious about for a while - thanks for any kind of response.

I married one.

We were best friends for years before we started dating.

My wife sticks to English when calling me an idiot, unless she's really mad and slips in a few words in Tagalog or Klingon.

We did have an incident many years ago where my wife (girlfriend at the time) started throwing knives at another girl after she hugged me. A girl she had been very good friends with since middle school. Usually best not to bring the topic up, or give her reason to become jealous.

My ex-fiance from many years ago was a real life Tsundere. I've never been more annoyed in my life than then.

Now yanderes on the other hand... I need me one of those.

i've never come across a tsundere who wasn't a kid. My little cousin (8 i think) is a tsundere and another kid(10) whom i see once year on vacation.

One of my ex's was a tsundere type. Quite hard to warm up to but she really fought for people she cared about. I miss her sometimes, but hey, life is life.
