Plot Summary

Lucifer, bored from his sulking life in hell comes to live in Los Angeles only to help humanity with its miseries through his experience and telepathic abilities to bring people's deepest desires and thoughts out of them. While meeting with a girl in his nightclub (called Lux), a shootout involving him and the girl leads him to become a LAPD consultant who tries to punish people for their crimes through law and justice.

Anyone seen this series yet?

I started watching it a few weeks ago and surprisingly found it was fun. Maybe it's because of the dialogues, maybe it's because of Tom Ellis' very entertaining acting, or the action/thrill/mystery aspect of it.

The show is about a character named Lucifer Morningstar and he gets involved with a LAPD officer. In the first episode, he gets involved in shootout with a girl and later finds himself tagging along side Chloe, a woman who works with the LAPD. They often undertake dangerous cases involving criminals but Chloe isn't really convinced that he is the devil. There's a lot of dark humor throughout the show with bits of violence and hints that

It's actually a pretty fun show. I'd recommend it if you're looking for some strange humor and detective fiction. Like Lucifer says, "he's in it for the danger and exploring mortality."

I just watched Ep 1 online, and I think Lucifer is really funny. I didn't think about that, but just love him while I'm watching it. I love how he played with the coin! The female detective looked want to know more about him, but I don't think she will get it. This show is great for watching, so I will watch it later, hope FOX allow it in a long time, so I c an watch it on their website.

Fox recently renewed it for a second season. It's ratings are not bad since it follows "Gotham" ( and earlier on, " The X-Files" brief return). Meanwhile, no word on a season 4 of " Sleepy Hollow", can't believe they got rid of Abbie.

Eww you just spoiler it for me! ;p I meant to watch Sleepy Hollow late second season but Demand channel were missing some of the early Episodes and I couldn't start watching the later one without knowing what happen before that part. So I need to rent the disc from Netflix.. Unless they'll start steaming them soon. So I can catch up :).

By the way I was upset that they never did made second season of Constantine.

Been a very entertaining show and Ellis does a splendid job as a completely self-centered bastard Lucifer. I had to mentally seperate it from the original comics to really get into the series but once I did that it was really entertaining. Some good mysteries, great characters all around but really Ellis as Lucifer is just brilliant.

and oddly enough it is a very God Positive show, which is something I don't think the protesters realize.

Really looking forward to season 2

I loved the first 2 seasons of Sleepy Hollow then it began to lose its footing. Once we lost half the original cast it was obvious the writing was on the wall.

Now, as for Lucifer. I actually have yet to read the comics (which I hear from others is a good thing due to me going into the show blind). I can honestly say Lucifer and Legends of Tomorrow are my 2 favorite new network shows this year. Tom is fantastic and I've been a huuuuge fan of Lauren's since watching her on Happytown (a very underrated show IMHO).Going into this I had no idea what to expect but fell in love with the show quickly. After last night's season finale though, I just can't wait to meet...

Tom Ellis did a very good job at portraying Lucifer as the character.

Decent ending, felt like the finale was somewhat rushed though. However, that conclusion gets me excited for the next season. Also, I hope they develop more between Chloe and Lucifer's relationship as they never seemed to have stepped into the romance category (lots of hinting though). 7/10.

The show was way better than I thought that it would be. I do agree that the end of the season did feel rushed. Excited about its return. Cannot wait to see what happens in the next season.

I need more of it, how can season 1 be done wit only 13 episodes. Jeez, it's always the best shows that run short.
