So long story short
My Preimum was supposed to run out yesterday but tried to auto renew on an old card and this morning I saw it was still pending, I contacted Crunchyroll and they successfully were able to get me outta pending process, now I'm trying to get Premium on a valid Card and each time I try to buy it I get hit with this message

I already sent another email to Crunchyroll about this problem but since I'm no longer Preimum I don't know how long this will take for a reply with the possibility that an easy fix isn't in the next email ._.

IMPORTANT EDIT: I don't know why but through my iPad it gave me a free trial due to buying a one month subscription off it (I wanted the 12 months one but it wasn't an option) >_> not quite what I wanted...nor do I feel it fixed the situation...ugh

If anyone can help me out with this I'd reaaaaally appreciate it X_X

Did this get resolved?

I've been trying to get the same error fixed on my account for months now. ( http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-930407/cant-upgrade-to-premium )

The last I heard from support was from Nelson Rosa in late January who said "We have actually been actively looking into this bug for a while but it is proving to be a tricky one. This is a known issue that's actually affecting a number of users, and our team is hard at work putting together a fix."

Yes, I've been gifting myself to maintain service since I can no longer subscribe due to the error as per suggestion from Tobias on January 25th.

Yes, that is the aforementioned guest pass that I have been using to maintain services while waiting for the fix so I can subscribe to an annual recurring Premium+ membership. I would greatly prefer a discounted annually recurring Premium+ subscription to buying and redeeming a guest pass monthly at a greater price and greater inconvenience.

I'm having this same problem. My Premium+ sub ran out but I had 3 1 month gift subs given to me that I planned to use before resubbing as regular Premium.

Now it shows my gift sub as active, but my account is acting like a free one. Ads, no new content available. I can't purchase a regular sub for the same error you're getting.

It's been 4 days since I contacted support and nothing. I figure it's because the site thinks I'm no longer a "Premium Member" at the moment How much of my gift subs will go to waste before I can use the service that's been paid for?

So frustrating

Your gift membership is now active. I don't see though what would be blocking you from using /premium_pick_plan?membership=premium to sign back up once the 3 gift membership expires in early June.

Thanks for fixing it however you did.

My gift sub was already showing as active, but my account kept telling my to sign up for a trial or purchase a sub. When I went to the same link you posted, I'd get error "Sorry, you are ineligible because you already had a free trial or are currently a Premium Member."

Still sucks I lost half a week of access for no reason.
