This was actually helpfull, 2 months still can't buy subscription with credit card. but apperently can use my credit card to buy a gift card and gift myself.

Been having same issue since December of 2015, support only keeps gifting me free months but not fixing the issue, , last email i got said " I'll have to escalate your case to payment department on 3/11/16 but have not heard anything since then or got an email response. i jsut want to fix this so i can watch my shows. so if anyone knows how to fix this would appreciate any help.

It's probably going to work after the 22nd. We re-enabled the longer duration gift memberships on the store the other week, if you can't wait.

Hi I've been having the same problem my membership didn't renew like it was suppose to and when I try to purchase another premium membership it tells me I already have the free trial

same issue here. Been a premium for years. Let it expire.
Seems now I'm a premium but not as an old Gift is there but my membership shows as normal.
But I cannot access premium flagged content.

When I try to upgrade my account, it says the same error.

Account Type: Normal - Upgrade Your Account
Membership Type: Premium Member [Premium Member]
Membership Ends: Apr 11, 2016

Credit Card

Choose a payment method stored in your Crunchyroll account or use a new credit card.

Sorry, you are ineligible because you already had a free trial or are currently a Premium Member.

I am also suffering from the same issue due to an error based on payment method. I took the 14 day free trial, and when they attempted to bill the incorrect card, the payment was voided. I attempted to purchase premium once again, but it still insists that I am in a trial or a premium member, even though I am receiving no such perks. I hope this issue is resolved soon.

and now apparently, since I purchased a 3 month premium membership gift yesterday, and used it, I should be premium right? No. The instant I logged in today, My profile said I was not. My settings, and the store said I was, but the profile says that I am not a premium member. This has got to stop.

I'd like to add to this, because I'm currently experiencing the exact same problem. The whole situation is even more complicated and ridiculous than this, but the short of it is that a 14 day free trial that I got (that I didn't even ask for) is preventing me from renewing my subscription, a trial that should've run out yesterday, but still tags me as a premium member for some reason, even though I have no premium member rights. There are so many threads and members in this forum that seems to struggle with this problem, it's ridiculous. I can't even nuke my account and set up a new one.
