If you no longer had any food allergies, what would be the first thing you would eat that you were ONCE allergic to?

I would pig out on the biggest cake I could find!

I live in a college town, where Sympathetic Veganism, lactose-intolerance and gluten-allergies are considered more politically correct than normal cis-culinary, and we had a group that used to have make community dinners that took into account EVERY imaginable food limitation, Kosher and diabetic diets included.

That usually meant a lot of bean dishes, but could also mean a nice oat-topped fruit cobbler for dessert.
Point is, we learned that there were quite a few gluten-free cake recipes out there, if you looked, and quite a few alternative/organic food stores willing to sell gluten-free cake mix. Can't say it was as good as the real thing, but you could frost it.

I am allergic to certain types of nuts. I hate the nuts I'm not allergic to so nothing really.

Oh I know about the gluten free stuff, I usually get my stuff at Kroger. But still if I wasn't gluten free, I'd still pig out on the biggest cake I would find.

Considering my food allergy is to Lactose I am not that motivated to consume foods containing it. The few times I have the stuff has left a bad taste in my mouth. And honestly I've yet to see a healthy way of consuming milk products. The caloric content per milliliter of even 1% is unacceptable in my opinion. Add to that the chemical crap your average dairy cow is pumped full of and I wonder why any sane person whose IQ is higher than 2 consumes the stuff.

Most of the stuff I'm allergic to isn't edible. I do have a mild allergy to raw pineapple and raw kiwi. They make my lips, mouth, throat and inner ears feel itchy. The first time I had fresh pineapple my lips broke out into a rash. I just make sure to only eat a little bit on rare occasions or have the cooked versions since cooking seems to have neutralised the chemical in the fruit that I'm allergic too. Currently dairy stuff is giving me a sore throat leading to a wheeze every time I try to consume something with dairy. I'd started to reduce consumption for a while now but I may have to give it up altogether.

I'm allergic to peanuts, eggs, many seafoods such as lobster, oyster, shrimp, etc. I wouldn't eat any of them tbh.

You are missing out Lobster is pretty good. If I had your allergies I'd go for that one.
