No as long as the story is entertaining and consistent I could care less.

I just read/watch it for the story. In general I don't really remember who wrote it

I mean, reading an entire story, and finding out what the author REALLY meant can come as a "fuck you" to the audience, so I guess I do care. Never really read a story where the author glamorized profuse amounts of violence or racial superiority or whatnot.

I don't really want to know. Just enjoy the story.

What's with all the different colours?
Anyways it doesn't matter for me but if it happens to be written by Gen Urobuchi then I expect to feel sad and hate myself at the end.

Oh just bored of the same old black, color. I like variety in life...

Generally it's not a huge deal for me, but certain writers have very distinctive styles or simply nail a specific aspect of writing, and if I feel the need to scratch a particular itch, I may turn to a specific writer for that. Ryogo Narito, for example, excels in juggling huge casts of characters and many-threaded plots, Gen Urobuchi has a knack for criticizing utilitarian ideals and breaking his characters, Kazuma Kamachi has some excellent character banter and lewd comedy, and Nasu Kinko has a thing for god-tier world-building and applying specific concepts into his stories. Sometimes you just want to read a specific type or style of story, and looking up stuff by an author that excels in whatever you're looking for is a good way to find it.

Mostly I learned about famous anime staff through internet buzz about their work, eg. Mamoru Oshii, Hideaki Anno, Makoto Shinkai and ofc Urobutcher. If I like something by a certain director or less frequently, scriptwriter, I'll tend to seek out their other works.

The only case I started to pay attention to a scriptwriter without any buzz is Chiaki Konaka, since I've watched a LOT of shows he was a writer on and I was noticing this same name in the credits again and again.

Ok, so I know a lot of people do. However I am not one of those people, if this offends you well, you take things too serious.... Half the time, I don't even know whoe the author is, I remember watching naruto I didn't even know who Kishimoto was tell like a year a go. I just enjoy the content, It is something I do in my down time to relax and take in a good story. Are you one of theose people who cares who writes and publishes the story???? If you do care, why do you care? Just curious...

Not really. I only know who mangaka are...I don't know about screenwriters, other than Urobutcher, Ooshi and Mari Okata(I think that's her name)
