This question is specifically for animal characters.

animals with clothes look strange
especially when they wear t-shirts but no pants, does that mean they're half-naked? it confuses me

I loved the old Robin Hood animated movie and they had on clothes. But I feel it doesn't work in a lot of situations.

I thought we were talking about ecchi and hentai. Much disappointed.

Yea its all or nothing. Though if there supposed to be anthropomorphic then they should wear cloths.

I feel like putting clothes on animals defeats the purpose of it being an animal in the first place when you're trying to humanise them. But I guess the animal features do add a bit of quirk to the characters like in Arthur; they could have just been humans which would've been boring! It's a trope.

I think I like naked better though because if I want to see an animal then I want to see an animal, not a very humanistic approach to one.

Depends on the art style and type of animated series. If they are personifying animals I think clothes are better.

What an odd question

I'll go with naked

Clothes I guess.
