Wait... You have a point?

I'm sorry that you can't understand that consoles are for playing games that couldn't be played on PCs.

The concept is too deep for you.

I don't think PC Gamers are superior.

80% of them are under 4GB of VRAM far inferior than current gen consoles.

Most PC users don't pay for anything. Free Games, Free Music, Free Movies, Free OS.

I own a mediocre PC, but don't play on it as much on my consoles. They are all talk, no skills, most of them cheat their way out of most multiplayer games.

Yes I own a mediocre PC too. And been planning to build an enthusiast class rig someday. But not for gaming.

Take away a GPU on my RIG and and my friends might mistake me for living on poverty level.

Inaccurate? On which one? The +80% inferior than console machines out there? You can check out STEAM's hardware survey if you want.

PC Gamers are the real peasants here.

Thank us console gamers for paying too much on our consoles and games for developers able to make more money to develop new games, and for the real peasants (PC Master Race/ PC Elitist Wanna Be's) to enjoy them freely. ü

Revenue from PC games surpassed that of consoles awhile ago. Clearly someone is paying.

Also who's getting games for free, unless it's a free weekend on Steam? Yes, there are pirates but most is probably overstating it.

It's not really surprising there are so many lower end systems, there are people playing games on PCs whos primary purpose is something other than gaming.
Enthusiasts are usually a minority, and most people buy their PCs rather than build them and even fewer buy their GPU separately if they get a desktop. It's not like it's completely unaffordable, the GTX 750TI, which would be roughly on par with current gen consoles, is pretty cheap so it's not like it's price only for enthusiasts, at least not anymore. Frankly I'd be surprised if most the non-enthusiasts even knew about the meme and shocked if they had ever used it unironically.

Personally, I don't care what other people game on. In fact why are we even debating this...yet again and with a term originally coined to mock the very elitism this thread seem to have been started to display.

This thread makes one thing very clear there are plenty of peasants on both sides and it has nothing to do with hardware.

It doesn't matter which platform you game, as long as you enjoy it.

Consoles are for people that just want to play games and dont want to have to learn how PCs work.

PC are for the people that have grown up with technology and are able to handle it propperly.

Wether or not PC or console gaming is big in the future, depends frankly on the intelligence and the education of people int the future.

So there is a little core of truth to the PC master race^^

Antivirus only applies to windows users. A thousand if you want a PC that will last you 5-7 years. Can go cheaper if you want plus you get steam sales and can download entire library's of older generation console games. I have over 1000 GBA games on a CD :P

But wii u would be shit in comparison. Your pc will be outdated soon if you want the best of the best all of the time but it should last a few years or so without needing an upgrade and your games will look and preform much better.

You get what you pay for basically.

And the saving in way cheaper games dose add up plsu dont need to by control pads and etc or pay extra to play your games on line. Unless you play subcription MMO's.

You can build your PC once every 5-7 years then just do graphic card upgrades for newer games. My 7 year old PC still works great its just stuck on 4gb of ram, bought first generation ddr3 mobo before the standard got made. If I bought a new graphic card I could play sky rim easily.

I chose my Toshiba Radius with the intention of it lasting almost ten years. The laptop had a solid reputation, too. I binge-game for a few months, then cease for up to two years at a time. I also leave my games behind when I work on the road. Plus, my current Wii needs replaced, thanks to Nintendo ditching their older Wii models. I don't want to lose what I already have, so WiiU is my best bet, regardless.

Yeah i have had same MB and CPU for a fair while now. Probably even same case and power supply.
My last recent upgrade was GPU and RAM only.
I had the old GPU for at least 3 years but i reckon more like 5 or more.
I did upgrade to SSD at some point, and i did buy a bigger and better one at some point also.
Appart from that, i decided to buy a decent keyboard after using cheap ones for years and i bought a new HDD becasue an extremely old one started to die.
I have had same mouse and head set for many years.
Occasionally buy new computer chair also.

I have saved heaps of money on games over the years no doubt. Digital PC games FTW and steam sales g'yeah.
