Why does there have to be a term for it? You likely enjoy the fruits of a variety of cultures on a daily basis. You don't need a unique word for each one you appreciate.

Like what you like. You do you, man.

I don't eat fruit but I get what you're saying. I want a term more so I can have something specific to say other than "hey I just like the culture I'm not a weeb" you get what I'm saying?

Call yourself a Japanese cultural anthropologist so that people don't think that you're overly excited about Japanese culture.

Yeah, I understand what you mean. I think the problem you're going to run into though is that anyone that uses the word weeb to begin with is still probably going to call you a weeb no matter how you try to rephrase it yourself.

To elaborate with the aforementioned fruit: If someone calls you an orange, and you go "Actually, I'm an apricot" the likely response is going to be "Yeah, well, you're still orange".

Then 5 minutes later you're arguing with them about citrus and vitamin C levels.

Lmao true I thought about that but I feel like on my part that's a bad example I guess I just want something more official to consider myself when it comes to things like crunchyroll and other sites in a way...

Pick up an appreciation for one more culture aside from Japan. Perhaps read some Korean manhwa. That way if anyone asks you can just say you're very "cultured". -.-

Yeah I've been looking into German history and culture and have been quite fascinated with Korean music and culture for quite some time
