This is great. I recommend everyone to watch this video. Mitt Romney tells it like it is and calls out Donald Trump. If only so many of Trump's supporters could realize these things, than Trump wouldn't be doing so well right now.

Highlights are in description, because lulz watching. You're welcome

"If we republicans choose Donald Trump as our nominee, the prospect for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished"
https://youtu.be/0xd3kr-QpeM?t=142

"But wait, you say, isn't he a huge business success that knows what he's talking about? No he isn't. His bankruptcies have crushed small businesses and the men and women who worked for them. He inherited his business, he didn't create it"
https://youtu.be/0xd3kr-QpeM?t=204

"[...]Donald Trump lacks the temperament of be president. After all, this is an individual who mocked a disabled reporter, who attributed a reporter's questions to her menstrual cycle, who mocked a brilliant rival who happened to be a woman due to her appearance, who bragged about his marital affairs, and who laces his public speeches with vulgarity."
https://youtu.be/0xd3kr-QpeM?t=420

"Think of Donald Trump's personal qualities, the bullying, the greed, the showing off, the misogyny, the absurd third-grade theatrics"
https://youtu.be/0xd3kr-QpeM?t=535

"There is plenty of evidence that Mr. Trump is a con man, a fake. Mr. Trump has changed his positions not just over the years, but over the course of the campaign, and on the Ku Klux Klan, daily for three days in a row. We will only really know if he is the real deal or a phony if he releases his tax returns and the tape of his interview with the New York Times."
https://youtu.be/0xd3kr-QpeM?t=739

"He creates scapegoats of Muslims and Mexican immigrants, he calls for the use of torture. He calls for killing the innocent children and family members of terrorists. He cheers assaults on protesters. He applauds the prospect of twisting the Constitution to limit first amendment freedom of the press. This is the very brand of anger that has led other nations into the abyss."
https://youtu.be/0xd3kr-QpeM?t=941

"Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He's playing the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat"
https://youtu.be/0xd3kr-QpeM?t=975

While I don't argue what he's saying, the hypocrisy of one politcian "calling out" another is hilarious to me.

If only it wasn't coming from Mitt Romney.
Rubio projects enough intelligent background that his Trump-bashes were stinging, but getting a complaint from Mitt Romney is like getting a complaint from your mailman.

If Rubio couldn't penetrate the cheap-populist brick wall (NPI) of "The guy's bold, he'll tell those chintzy politicians like it is!", I can GUARANTEE you, the party-copycat Lost Osmond Brother is not the one you could pick to do it either.
Putting Romney at the face of the anti-Trump movement is giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

I wasn't a fan of Mitt Romney in 2012. But now, with Trump and the GOP this campaign season...I really miss Mitt Romney lol

I'm not a big fan of Romney, but he is telling the truth about Trump. Trump is as bad as he says and Trump shouldn't be doing this well at this point.

If he does get elected he may be the fastest president ever to be impeached.

Mitt Romeny is pretty reasonable compared to the nut jobs who are currently running.
The Republican Party will only get more conservative and right wing.
I'm embarrassed to admit I was once a member of that party.

I agree. One thing that helps me feel less afraid about Trump possibly becoming president...is that he is likely to be impeached before his first term is finished.

Given Romney's tagalong-little-brother reputation in the '12 campaign, I'd LIKE to think that Romney is speaking for his conscience, as it sounds like he is--which he could if he was physically able to express real emotion--but knowing him, and his limited ability for expressing original ideas, I can't help thinking it sounds more like his usual join-the-party "Hey, guys, can I get news opportunities for doing it too, can I, huh, can I? " (Especially when he jumped on the "Free the tax info" issue, trying to grab Cruz's thunder.)
But, if that's the new Republican bandwagon to jump on, can't say it's a bad one. At least he's playing the "Trump is a huckster and a con man" angle, and not the rather distracted "If Trump is the official nominee, everyone will vote for HILLARY!!" neurosis that's...a bit off the point.

And I'll say it--I just can't hear an Angry Mitt Romney without hearing that SNL sketch during the '12 campaign:
http://snltranscripts.jt.org/11/11cromney.phtml

Mitt Romney: Okay! Look! Okay, I'm about to get ANGRY! Okay? And not regular angry -- we're talking MORMON Angry! I mean, you're gonna start hearing words like "Shucks!", "Fudge!", and the biggie: " Cheese and crackers!" Now, I know I have shortcomings, okay? I'm plainspoken... I'm a little stiff... and my voice sounds like a black comedian doing a white guy voice. But I'm the man now! So do we have any questions about the election at hand? [ he points ] Yes -- you!

Republican #6: Um -- how do write-in votes work? Seriously -- if we all wrote in "Chris Christie" and he won, he would have to be president, right/

Mitt Romney: [ angry ] Awwwww... HECK IT ALL! Heck it all to FUDGE!!

Here's the scary part, most of these negative qualities apply to almost any candidate so far, including the man sitting in the oval office.

But Trump is worse than most of the candidates running/that ran for 2016 and is worse than the current president. I'd say he is worse than all of them, except for Ted Cruz. I'd say Ted Cruz is the only one worse than Trump.

If you are saying it is clearly evident that Trump is just all around bad, I agree, and am upset millions of Americans love the guy and keep eating up everything he says and does.

For decades the Republican party has done nothing but broker deals with corporations. They're trying to give the Internet to Comcast and AT&T, for example. Trying to kill Net Neutrality. They've made it possible for big pharmaceutical corporations to gouge Americans, and making the cost of healthcare in the United States so high, that many Americans can't afford it, so they get sicker and sicker. They are the creators of The Patriot Act, and of Homeland Security. They have been chipping away at our civil liberties, slowly transforming the United States into a police state, and have been giving giant corporations more and more control over individuals. Allowing banks to become "too big to fail", then bailing them out at the cost of individual Americans' losing everything.

They have done all of this, and more - all with a straight, and dignified face. Those politicians are some of the crookedest. Accepting "campaign donations" from large corporations to make laws that leaves Americans with less and less, while giving it to the corporations. There used to be a time when being middle class was worth something. Middle class is now the new poor, and being poor has degraded to being destitute, in the United States. Invisible ceilings, set in place by the wealthy elite and the giant corporations that keep the vast major of Americans, and small businesses from rising above the artificial barriers that have been set in place by the Republican party, with convoluted tax laws that favour the wealthy elite and giant corporations. All of it done, with dignity, and with good manners.

Trump may be an ass, but at least he's honest about it. The Republican party fears Trump, not because he's an ass, but because he's threatening to rock the comfy, cushy money lined boat that the Republican politicians have enjoyed riding in for decades. Frankly, I hope he capsizes their boat, so that the dirty money these politicians have been accepting from lobbyists from giant corporations and their lobbyists, will float around them in the water, exposing how dirty Mitt Romney and his Republican political cronies really are.

(The Democrats and that crooked Hilary Clinton are no better, but I'm focusing on the Republican Party right now). Just so that you know, I'm a former Reagan Republican. I left the Republican Party and became an Independent. I left, when I saw time after time, all avenues for individuals to rise and make a place for themselves closed to regular folk, to allow giant corporations the right of way... Sure, an American can start a business, work his ass off to get his business growing, but as soon as his business hits the radars of his giant competitors, they manoeuvre to steal his clients and his business. All made legal, thanks to the deals the Republican politicians and the lobbyists have made.

Examples? Software start-ups that create real useful and popular software. The giants, Microsoft, Apple, Oracle, etc, send cease and desist letters threatening lawsuits for patent infringement. They hold patents on ideas, but no software that fits the description. They're called Patent Torpedoes. Either the small software start up is forced to sell their business and their hard work to the giant corporation, or they just crumble and go under.

Another example? Walmart. Moves into a community, and dozens, if not hundreds of small businesses go under shortly thereafter. We used to have high paying factory jobs. Where did those go? We used to be able to save up for our retirements... What happened to that? We used to be able to start a business that grew to be a huge and well known name. We can't do that any more without the giant corporations blocking, forcing us to sell, or otherwise suing us out of business.

You don't think there are barriers keeping Americans from starting up a business? Then why can't a new communications company start up without it getting eaten up by AT&T or Sprint, or Comcast? Either eaten up, or just run out of business, when AT&T suddenly decides to cut their rates, and run a campaign advertising stupid low prices. Then when either the new competitor sells out, or goes under, the prices go back up. Google is a freakin' giant, and it's having trouble trying to start up it's communications business in AT&T's territory. What makes you think a group of entrepreneurs can do it? They can't! The Republican politicians have given AT&T and it's friends, not competitors, the communications industry. That's why there are no other companies around for you to switch to.

Oh crap! I typed way more than I had intended....

The point is, Mitt Romney and his Republican hypocrites can act all dignified and act like they have morals, but they don't. They're just as crooked and deceptive as Trump. It's just that Trump is not in their club, and he's rocking their boat. A vote for Trump is a vote to capsize their money boat.
