Cradle of Filth are cool. Nymphetamine is a good tune very haunting.

Well I haven't heard any other "symphonic" death metal bands other than Fleshgod Apocalypse but judging from that band, it's not very interesting. I mean,the orchestra-samples are way too loud...are they trying to cover something up? Take away the "symphonic" themes and you get a regular boring death metal band with blast beats in 666 bpm.

Nothing personal if you like this music but I see right through this.

Implying that they're using the symphonic aspects as a cheat to cover up something rather than just having it be a genuine part of their sound.
That's like saying Dimmu Borgir are using their symphonic aspects to just cover up how boring they would be without them.
Which they would, but that's because the music is written with the symphonic elements in mind. It's a genuine part of their sound.
