What are some recent changes, positive or negative, that have had a lasting effect on your life?

Example: My favorite radio station was replaced by a christian music station, and they where the only station that didn't repeat the same music every 3-4 hours.

Recently got out of a long term relationship. That's lead to plenty of changes, as I've been subtly altering or replacing lots of things since. It's definitely been a learning experience, but a lot of good has come of it.

Me and a group of friends would hang out weekly but on the count of my now ex gf breaking up with me, we stopped hanging out. It's been 3 weeks so far, and my stress has gone up exponentially

Having had helplessly witnessed my late female greyhound suffer through renal failure for roughly ten hours before she slipped into a coma and died. Dogs scream. She had already gone to a vet once that day, and was misdiagnosed with a pinched nerve. Her second-opinion appointment was scheduled for the next morning. We brought her in. Dead, though. In full rigor mortis. The sight of her slight muscular spasms after death, her cries of pain, as well as the whiff of decay I caught the next morning haunt me. It's true how eyes sink into the eye sockets and discolor.

I stopped talking to this dude who I thought was perfect because he ended up having a "girlfriend" that doesn't he even want to own up to, lmao. I don't eat meat anymore. Instead of waxing my brows, I get them threaded now. I cut back on soda.

Lentils are awesome. Dunno if it's in your diet plan but I make a super yummy and easy lentil soup with barley and beef bullion.

My mom dying was a big change for me. My dad worked a lot so I learned at a young age to take care of myself and the house.

I was diagnosed wth Ulcerative Colitis, it sucks but I suppose it could be worse. I had to take a medical leave form grad school so I can recover and maybe achieve remission or at lest keep it under control. For now the medications are working and thankfully I'm able to get one of them for free, because damn are they expensive.
