Why won't my app work in Japan. What the hell am I paying money for when the app won't work. Currently travelling in southern Japan. Fix it now, or I guess I will call in and make rude comments. Seriously. The app will not load. I can log in and nothing happens. Anyone else having issues?

I think it might be cause you are in Japan. It's a regional thing I believe.

We do not have any licenses for Japan except for RWBY and some few odd other things.

I've been there recently. It's quite funny that we can't stream anime in the land of anime; or it would, if it weren't so sad.

I'm currently learning Japanese with the intent of moving to and living in Japan. Although I could probably watch all my anime on TV, I'd still welcome a way to stream whatever I want, whenever I want.
Still, with Crunchyroll only streaming a handful of shows in the Land of the Rising Sun, I guess I'll just cancel my subscription when the time comes, and see if I can't find a Japanese streamer instead.

Just saying.

You'll be more successful watching anime on TV over there. Buying discs isn't that expensive either, if you go for second hand at stores liked Book-off. Physical rental is actually still a thing as well and fairly cheap at rental chains like Tsutaya.
There are a few streaming services, bit usually the exposure of series with full episode length is low. The only one that really gets a shot at such titles every now and then is Nico Nico Douga, but don't count on getting much.
