400 square feet would be it. So long as I have good insulation, utilities, High Speed Internet, etc... then sure.

That's a smidge smaller than my actual apartment.

Really?

My math sucks.... I got it wrong... That's slightly more than twice as big as my apartment. My place is about 15' X 12' = 180 square feet...

Oh wow.

I rather live in a warm and cozy small home which has always been my dream than a big ol' cold sprawling mansion.

I would much rather live in a bigger space to be honest than a smaller or cramped one. I've been in some before and hated not having space to put my stuff and feeling claustrophobic sometimes. Its like an evolving preference, before having larger space it wouldn't have been as obvious as it is now, so it's hard to look back unless its a sacrifice that has to be made due to finances or relocating and nothing better available.

The "Ting Houses" cost way too much for their size, and come with less, I'm sorry, a 5 gallon bucket isn't a toilet. You'd be better off getting a 4 Season RV trailer and living in that.

I hadn't even considered that! Plumbing! Where're you getting your hot/cold water for showering, cooking, doing the dishes, and going to the potty? Damn! The stuff we take for granted and think is there by default! Electricity, too!

Yea, my house is big but sadly not as big as my ego or alter-ego...so I need a big house for all those skeletons..

You can plumb them into most RV parks no problem, but some of these homes have less what you are really wanting in a full time home. I mean they do have ones with gas heat and things like that, but the cost is really high for some of these models, it would be cheaper to get a older RV and live in that.

RVs even have small tankless waterheaters that work good.

So, would you ever consider living in a tiny house? Are you willing to downsize to get a better lifestyle? What are the pros and cons of tiny house living? Have you ever seen a tiny house before?

My Turn:

No. I would not want to live in a tiny house. I rather live in a big house with rooms to spare. I think tiny houses are cute but not cute enough to live in.

Enjoy!!!

I wouldn't mind living in a 4-5 room single-story house but this is wayyyyyy too small for a claustrophobe like me.

Yeah, I planned on building a house boat but found out that I wouldn't be allowed to live in it for longer than 21 day a year.
Caravans are the next best thing and I'm thinking about one that can turn upside down for 21 days.

As long as I lived by myself, yes. Living in a tiny house like that with another person would be super annoying.

I definitely would. Especially if it's just me and my little birdie.

Just looking at those pictures sends shivers down my spine. It's like living in a prison cell or coffin.
