I have been looking at LootCrate and several other monthly anime subscription boxes and thinking this might be fun to try. Just curious if anyone else has used the services and have any recommendations or thoughts? I know they can be a bit pricey so I am on the fence

Nope, not me. They seem fun, but expensive!

Yes, this is why I am hesitant. I am so frugal haha But I think it might be fun to splurge and try once or twice.

I never have. They seem like they might be fun, but you can also get second seasons of a show you haven't seen since they're random. I would probably try one just for fun if the shipping wasn't so expensive.

Yes expensive for sure. I am thinking maybe a one time purchase to see. I enjoy that sort of thing. I love collecting blind box minis and such hehe.

It's definitely the shipping that turns me off. I ordered two Fairy Tail plushies for my kids a couple years ago from Crunchyroll and the shipping was more than the plushies! In the US it's probably not that bad, but shipping to Canada is expensive. Haven't ordered anything since. They did get all the Fairy Tail plushies they have though (8 of them now), but I was able to find them on Amazon and get them much cheaper. Should have thought of that the first time eh?

Yes I have learned my lesson with the shipping. I use Amazon whenever possible. It saves me tons on the cost of shipping, but it still seems to take forever to get here. My daughter insisted on a cosplay/pj set last year for Christmas and I dropped the ball on ordering. It arrived late, but she was still thrilled.
