Yes. The missed the ball on not getting this show and Noragami.

They both have similar appeal, too.

Unfortunately, Funimation isnt worth it to me to subscribe to, like CR is. So............ I may have seen both on another site *whistles innocently*

Such is the nature of competition. You can't win it all.

Funimation had a hand in making the series so its no surprise that they would have streaming rights to it.

I was watching Funimation n Demand before even going to streaming . And you only got shows on Friday back then. You had Adult Swim to watch shows on Sat . Who did the dubs a lot by Funimation. I thank Funimation for getting more anime into the at least the US. Where was CR then. They get a lot of respect from me for bringing anime a long time now.

And I was watching DUbs way before they had English Subs.

Now I like both CR and FUNI. Both have good points / both have bad points .

So I get annoyed when fans of CR should have shows instead of FUNI . Not A word about Netflix having Ajin and others . They both have contacts to get shows

Real anime fans will watch where the show is / I have suns to both. Fans today are really spoiled. Thank godness for Funi bringing Anime along I will also say TAN (The Anime Network )had Anime on Demand before Funi and dserve a nod too ! I like all these trendy new wave anime fans that dont know anything

Now beyond that I am surprised you even posted this with Funimation on the Production Comittee. They are part owner and have a say in the show. You should check who the studio is etc.

Now I post all the time on the Show forum thread I havent seen you there all of a sudden since the show is on Toonami which Funimation shows get chosen because they do Dubs. and have a say in the show.

i never watched a dubb after 2009. I just cant into the english voices any longer.

i love the japanese voice actors better because it sounds more real. and helps me with reading as well.

DW is a show that does look like it can be aired in toonami, it could of been a better hit if it was made during Kids WB saturday shows.

but i dont know what you mean by trendy new wave anime fans...you probably do considering your twice my age.
Nothing in anime has changed just in hd quality, the animators still create it thru the same process.

but thats just changing the subject}

The sad thing is that i dont watch tv anymore. I just decide to stream them here.

Funimation does the dubs and CR do the subs. so theres no real competition here just ppl who prefer dubs over subs.

Well it isn't happening, but that's not a cause for concern seeing that Funimation has made their subscriptions worth the money. The bigger problem is that Hulu and Netflix have gotten involved in the simulcasting business and unlike CR and Funi, those two places aren't there with anime specifically in mind.

Well yeah, I would find it convenient if CR had Dimension W and lots of other shows as well, but that's not how business usually works.

As others have mentioned, it's not like Dimension W isn't pretty easily (and legally) available (at least for those of us in the US). I don't really mind having a Funi account in addition to CR. I do hate when there are shows I might watch on other sources though. Once it gets to having follow shows from three or more sources it just feels like a hassle, and a show has to be pretty compelling for me to remember to go watch it elsewhere if it's not on CR or Funi.

It's more about convenience than money, but that's part of it too--especially with regard to Netflix.
